Stop Hiding part 1

A second passed by. A minute passed by. A hour passed by. Before noticing, few months have also passed by me. And, here I am. Standing alone in a completely different country from the place where I was born and raise. I have been staying here for 2 years. I miss home. I miss my family. I miss him. But, who am I, I can't just run there, to him, and told him that I have miss him dearly. He is supposed to be married now. Having a small family of his own just like how he always dream.

Lucas:*shout from his room* Y/n!
Y/n: *shout* What?!
Lucas:*shout* Come here!

I sigh and walk to my so called twin bother room. I open his door with a slam and look at him with bored eyes.

Y/n: What?
Lucas: I have a good and bad news. Which one you wanna hear first?
Y/n:*sigh* Spill it.
Lucas: Good news, you will meet your *smirk* so called childhood friend.
Y/n: Who? I don't remember having lots of childhood friend.
Lucas: Think harder.
Y/n: The only one who I can remember right now, is him.
Lucas:*smirk* Bingo.
Y/n: Wh- *realize* Wait, did you just say bingo?!
Lucas:*smirk* Yes, I did.
Y/n:*sigh* I'm not in the mood for your lame jokes.
Lucas:*insulted* I'm not even joking. Here.

He tossed me his phone which show his texted with Henry, one of his friend. I reread their texted and Henry told Lucas that my once so called childhood friend will be moving here because of some financial issue. I tossed his phone back and go back to my room without speaking a thing.

This is gonna be hard. I don't know what to said to him if I ever faced him. Please, just do me a favour, don't let him work in the same place as I am and don't let him live in this neighborhood. If I only meet him at the supermarket, I can just avoid going to supermarket. Please just let us be apart if meeting will only bring bad things.

Lucas charged into my room with those fool expression on his face.

Y/n:*irritated* What?!
Lucas: Woah, chill twin, I wanna hang out with Henry and Jenny, wanna come?
Y/n: Why should I?
Lucas: Who knows if you can meet him later?

I throw my pillow straight to his face and chase him out. I plopped down my bed and just chill for the whole day. I don't want to think of any stressing thing, at least not on my last day of freedom.

A long long sigh has come through my lips. Just when I was about to close my eyes and sleep the day off, my most foolish brother decided to called me and order me to go to but our groceries for the month because he forgot it. I really wanted to just ignored it and lay on my bed. But knowing that if I do that, we won't have any food to consume for the rest of the month. So, let's just quickly get this to the end.

Passing some buildings, and more buildings, and more, I finally come across a park which is the only one in our neighborhood. I scan the park for awhile before continuing my journey to the nearest market, before I was stopped again by a girl who was bumped to me.

Y/n:*surprise* Oh my, are you okay?

The girl look at me and said sorry to me. I look over her knee and her knee was reddish because of the fall.

Y/n:*worried* Did you hurt your knee? Is your parents around here?

The girl just nod her head. She is the quiet type, I guess. I look around trying to find a man or woman looking for this daughter but no one was in sight.

Y/n:*smile* Can you tell me what's your name? So, that unnie can help you find your parents, okay?
Jessie: Jessie. Yang Jessie.
Y/n: Okay, *smile* thank you for telling me your name, Jessie. Your name is pretty.
Jessie:*smile* Thank you unnie.
Y/n: Can you tell unnie how your parents look like?
Jessie:*nod* Papa use red hat and he is with Jason and Jeffrey.
Y/n: Are Jason and Jeffrey your brother?
Jessie: Yes, they are! Jessie, Jason, and Jeffrey is *think hard* triplets!
Y/n: Oh, really?! That's good.

I try to scan around once more trying to find a man who uses a red hair with two boys beside him. And, finally, I found them. They was basically searching for her frantically. I decide that bringing Jessie to them is the it choice to make them know that she is safe.

Y/n: Jessie, *point at where they are* there is your papa and brothers, do you want to go and meet them?
Jessie:*nod* Yes, please.
Y/n:*smile* Can you walk?
Jessie: Jessie can walk, but Jessie *whine* legs hurt.
Y/n: Do you want unnie to carry you?

Jessie nod her head and stretch her hands to me. I pick her up and let her rest on my arms. I start to walk towards them while letting Jessie played with my hair which was untied.

Y/n: Excuse me, are you Jessie's father?

The man, no, the boy turn around and look at me. Man, I swear at time, I almost drop Jessie. He is the one who I hoped to never meet before! How the hell can he be here right in front of my eyes now?!

Jeongin: Yes, is she with you?
Y/n:*put Jessie down**point to somewhere* She bumped to me there and can't find you. So, I brought her here.

Jeongin drop to his knee and stretch his arm letting Jessie come to his arms and hug her like a koala. I smiled at that scene. It somehow warm my heart a little.

Y/n: Then, I guess I will take my leave.
Jeongin: Wait, do we ever meet before?

Yes you dumbass. I am you freaking childhood friend! That was what I want to answer.

Y/n: Do we?
Jeongin:*suspicious* I feel like we ever meet before. A long time ago.

I will never finish my task if I keep this on longer. I will just tell him who I am and walk away.

Y/n:*sigh* I am Park y/n. Your childhood friend who moved out of the town 2 years ago.
Jeongin:*realize* Oh, so that's why you look familiar!
Y/n:*awkward* Yeah, I need to run an errand now. Goodbye.

I dash before he even answer. Why? I don't want him to answer. Knowing that he already have his own child pretty hurt me honestly. But, what can I do? It was my fault after all. Running away like a coward.
