Fake Smile part 1

I smiled today. I smiled the same smiled as yesterday was. I smiled a fake smiled. I am unable to express my real feelings to the people surround me. Afraid of what they will think of me if I showed them the real me. Pathetic, right? I know. I know that I'm pathetic. But, I can't just make myself to show my true self to others. Will the day come where I'll be able to show them a real smile? The smile which I never need to force a lot of strength to smile.

Chan:*greet* Hey, y/n. Have you done the project?
Y/n: Project? Which project?
Chan:*sigh* Just how many projects do you handle?
Y/n:*thinking* Including the newest project, I have 6 projects so far. So, which project are you asking?
Chan:*stunned* Woah, handling 6 projects in 3 months, you are way to extraordinary. I was asking about the coffee production project.
Y/n: Oh, coffee production project. I have done it, I only need to send it our supervisor later in the afternoon.
Chan: About that, can you send it to me?
Y/n:*confuse* You? Why?
Chan: Our supervisor called just now, saying that she can't worked today because of something urgent coming.
Y/n: Oh, okay then. I'll email it to you right away.
Chan: Thanks.

Y/n, one of the best worker in her current company, never hangs around her co-workers after work. Her relationship between her and her co-workers are just a simple relationship between business partner. Nothing more nor less. The only one who is closed enough to her to have a 5 to 10 minutes conversation is Chan, her current desk mate, and Lilly, her junior which was attended to her. For the others workers, y/n is the most unsocial person. They can't bare to sit on a same table with her nor having less than a second eye contact. Being in a room for a minute with her has scared them enough for a day.

Did y/n know about this? Yes. She knows it very well. Is she sad? No. She is feeling happier then sad. Why? Because the fact that she doesn't need to waste a small part of her energy to fake a smile to the others. Did Chan and Lilly know about her condition? No, they didn't. Y/n wouldn't let them know it. For her, this is her problem, she must not burden others because of this small little tiny problem which she carried on. She will burry her pathetic feelings deep down inside her heart where light can't reach it.

One day, her boss called her to his office to give her more projects. However, it isn't the project that she have ever imagined. This project is way too heavy for her to do it. But, who is she to decline the boss demand? Like it or not, love it or not, she need to suck it up and make sure it is a success or she will lose her part in the society.

Boss: Y/n, *smile* you have done all the projects that have been given to you perfectly which make the company feels like we need to give you a rest.
Y/n:*bow* I just did what I need to do for the company. Giving me some rest would be too big for a worker like me.

Why did she said that when the others are dying for a rest? Cause she hate to be at home. She hate the cold silence that surround her. Even though she never participated in society conversation, at least she heard some sort of conversation that she is not interested to know. At least there is some sort of noises in the background and the cold yet terrifying silence won't hunt her down.

Boss: You look at yourself too lowly. Knowing what you will say, I will give you a project. You must succeed this project.
Y/n: I will do my best to every project that assign to me. May I know what project will it be?
Boss: You need to supervise the new project that our company is launching.
Y/n: Is it about the farm project which was attended to me 1 month ago?
Boss: As expected, you have a fast way of catching things. However this project is not the same as the project which you have ever handled before.
Y/n:*confused* Does it means that it requires more?
Boss: Yes, it does. It requires you to go there by yourself and lead them on your lead.
Y/n:*confused* Go there? By myself? Lead them?
Boss:*smile* This project only have one hope which is you. As you have known, this project was not greatly appreciated by the share holder which give us more burden then the others.
Y/n: In conclusion, you need me to go to the west country side to lead a newly collected farmer to successfully produced at least 75% of the whole projects. And, yet, I can't take nor appoint the others for this project. Is that right?
Boss: Sadly, yes it is. Please do your best. You have 6 months to done it.
Y/n:*bow* I will do my best.

1 weeks after the assign project given~

I suppose this should be enough. I look at my suitcases. I decide to bring half of my wardrobe there, medicine, bathroom needs, instant food, and sanitizer. I double check my things before locking my suitcase. I wander around my house once again just to check that I've emptied my refrigerator, as if it was full before, locking all of the windows, and turning off the electric. My phone ring, telling me that Chan is here ready to take me to the airport. I drag my suitcase with me and look behind once again.

Y/n:*whisper* Let's meet again later.

Chan: You ready?
Y/n: Are there any answer other than yes?
Chan:*sigh* The usual y/n is still here.
Y/n:*chuckle lightly* Sorry. Please take good care of my projects.
Chan: Rest assured. Your projects are in good hands.
Y/n: I hope so.

Y/n has set her first step in west country side. One of her junior fetch her from the airport to a small house which she assumed to be her stayed as long as she was here. She is currently checking her juniors identity before going straight to the farm. The boy who fetched her from the airport just now, named Seungmin. Kim Seungmin. He looks like a puppy for some reason, he was the one who was rumoured to be one of the flower boy here. But, from y/n's perspective, he was no more special than the others boy who she will be working with. Or does he?

Seungmin:*knocking on the door* Supervisor!
Y/n: Yes?
Seungmin: The others have arrived and are waiting for you.
Y/n: Okay, I'll be there.

Walking side by side, passing through several small houses and several field, before arriving there the place where the others farmers stand in lines to wait for y/n direction. Y/n directed all of the newly hired farmers and her juniors of what should they be doing for the coming month. She explain the project to them the every single little details.

Seungmin: Supervisor! *hesitant* Can you follow me for awhile?
Y/n: Did something happend?
Seungmin:*hesitant* Kinda?
Y/n:*sigh* Show the way.

Seungmin show her the way and it lead both of them to the behind of the warehouse.

Y/n: So, what is it?
Seungmin: Some workers here are actually getting bullied by the workers from the other farm.
Y/n:*confused* Bullied?
