LEVEL TEN- Cave of Wrath

Andrew walked backwards, trying to get a view of his surroundings. The cave walls rose up into the air, easily passing 27 feet. He looked over to where Liz was standing, looking at some carvings in the wall. Cole was still outside the cave, so asking him to try and decode the hieroglyphs was pretty much a waste for now.

The three team members walked into the cave second section, getting hit by a wave of hot air.

" I'll go scout ahead, keep Liz and Bethany safe in case things turn shitty here." Luca said before disappearing in a cloud of smoke.

Andrew equipped ~EMPEROR OF BABYLON~ ; the title came with some increased status effects as long as he used his broad sword Enuma Elîs and the accompanying armour.

Luca came back after almost an hour, sweating and panting from exhaustion. He had used his ~SHADOW TELEPORT~ skill four times in succession and the skill was on a 30 second cool down. The skill only lasted for about three steps so he had jumped pretty far several times to get back.

"Sta- sta- uste- ear- s!!" he panted, a hin line of blood mixing with the pool of sweat at his feet.

Liz cocked her head. " That sounded like he just said there was a-"

A loud bang screamed through the cavern, soon followed by smoke and flames roaring through. Some nearby rocks turned into lava instantly, running slowly over to where the team stood.

"- STAYRE GIANT near us" Liz groaned.

A huge dark hand started to creep out of the turn ahead, dotted with millions of tiny stars that didn't shine. The fingers latched onto a huge stalagmite and used it to pull itself further out into the open cavern.

" We are screwed. Very very screwed." moaned Andrew.

The wall behind them burst open, scattering rock and debris everywhere. Cole stepped out of the dust, ~TRINITY LONGBOW~ in arms and pointed out.

"Did someone need back up?” he grinned, letting the other players from the Forsythe guild take up positions around the smaller team. Andrew grimaced.

"Cole,-"

"Bahp bahp bahp, say nothing. They were in the area and had mentioned strange tremors from this place. I don't like the idea that they can help us, but we are out gunned here."

Andrew sighed, despondent. "Well then, gentlemen and ladies, shall we die?"
