The flames burnt hotter and hotter, immediately incinerating anything that came within six thousand yards to ashes and cinders. The figure on the throne at the center of the inferno watched the flames with stunning focus, eyes never shifting off of the images that appeared.

One hideous figure emerged from the darkness beyond the flames, dragging a corpse behind it; tied to chains that would occasionally glow a white hot light and wound the undying carcass.

"I see you're up to your old tricks an lies again, Enki." a deep voice resonated within the wall-less room.

The corpse straightened itself, suddenly becoming a regal and handsome young man with deep green eyes and black hair.

"Keeps things interesting though, doesn't it, brother?" Enki said with a willy grin.

A small ripple appeared in the air beside the figure on the throne. Slowly, the pointed tip of a spear moved outwards till most of the shaft was visible in the burning light.

In a split nanosecond, the spear lodged itself in Enki's torso, flinging him through the fire and into a ROCK GUARDIAN.

"Apparently youre still rude and hasty, Gil."

" You stand within MY court, so you will obey MY RULES, traitor. You dont even have the right to exist in this era, lest the Chalice of Fate fill and the dark waters flood this realm. Also, do NOT call me Gil!!!"

Enki just smiled. "The new ones have no idea."

"Good. And yet i feel like I'm supposed to kill you right now."

Enki cocked his head to one side. "But then this game wouldn't be any fun! Wheres the old bear that used to laugh at mortals being the pointless existence?"

Gilgamesh grunted." They had better not find out, or your entire body will remember why you're immortal."
