She hoped she heard wrong.
She really did hope.
But the moment she turns around looking directly in those pair of eyes she had looked at thinking they were her safe haven was actually standing in front of her, again.
She doesn't know what she is supposed to do.
So, she did what she learned.
"Can I help you, Sir?". She asked monotonously watching him flinch at her tone that he managed to cover up perfectly as always
He was good at masking.
"I-I would like to talk to you". He said gulping as he tries to settle his emotions after watching those eyes that used to had so much for him were now just empty with not a single emotion to trace
Much less his previous self.
"I have no business to speak to you about so show yourself out of my hotel. Your presence is not welcomed". She said sharply as she turns around feeling her heart pounding in her chest
"Anabia, please". He pleaded he would have gone on his knees if he had to beg for a chance
That tone. She had never heard him ever use it before not even when they were together. He was always a man of few words and he would never plead a thing.
"Sir, I am requesting patiently to leave my premises right now or I will be forced to call security. You are creating a scene at my workplace and I don't appreciate it one bit". Her tone remains cold and he felt her every word hitting hard on his heart
Her tone was similar to him when he used to address anyone a few years back.
No traces of emotions.
"Could you just lend me a few minutes?. Just a few, please?. I won't take much time, I promise you". He said taking a step towards her when her security blocked him
"What you wanted from me I am sure you have worked absolutely amazing to have it I don't see any more reasons to associate myself to you. Leave".
He could have fought against her guards, hell, he would have fought them off if that what it takes for him to reach her. But, his body stilled with the pure hatred that her eyes held for him. The way her lips were pursed in a thin line, her hand on her chest and those eyes, God, those eyes he loved so much held loathing for him, just for him had everything stilled.
Has he wished for something else?.
Not really.
But he had thought to find the pain, hurt anything, he had wished to find any other emotion not hate. Not from her. He couldn't and wouldn't be able to hold himself together to find her hating him.
"Please". His voice cracked as he tries again
"Throw him out of the hotel". Were the last words he heard when he was held by his collar and dragged outside
Her guards throw him outside stumbling he hit the side of the road scraping his hand in the process. He gulped heavily as he turns to look back at the magnificent hotel couldn't help but feel the pride filling his chest that she had indeed done it.
