She looks down at herself after changing into a comfortable pair of clothes in the room her secretary booked for her. She was ready to head back to the hospital as she had not spoken to him after he had his breakfast. Instead, his question and words lingered in her mind.
It was true.
There was no denial but she was hiding bigger things from him. She doesn't want to show him or have him see what she was hiding away. She would rather push him away than to have him known the secrets she hides inside of her.
She knows he holds the power of finding anything if he wished to and since Akbar would not be able to hold him back this time around. Since her location and occupation are known it was just about time the other things come crashing down as well.
She heard her phone ringing to find it from her stepmother. She sighs answering it and immediately her stepmother loud voice greeted her, "You have until next week to send in the check or you know what will happen. Don't even for a second think we will have any mercy. We will do it if you don't pay on time".
With that, the phone call ended leaving her shattering mess behind. She had known his stepmother to be cruel but she never thought she could turn this way. She cannot blame that woman thought she had lost herself in a fake love that she sacrificed everything that comes along. She had given them the chance they wanted to rip her off.
She heard her phone ringing again but this time she didn't look at it as she stayed on the floor trying to gather her broken pieces again. She stayed in agony with the loud ringing of her phone continued to fill the silence of the room.
She parked his car in front of the hospital taking a deep breath looking at herself in the mirror for the last time to check if she looks good before she marches right inside the hospital where the scent of chemicals greeted her.
As she near his room her heart starts to act weird as the anticipation in her heart made her angry. But, when she heard the loud noises of someone fighting and the number of people around looking at someone she frowns more.
That was until she heard his voice in those loud noises. She pushed through the people in her way as she stands in the front with his back towards her.
"I need to go find her she maybe hurt for all you know. I can't stay here anymore". His voice was filled with agonizing pain that made her heartache
"Sir, I am sure she will be here shortly. You need rest--". The doctor started
"What I need is her and if you don't let me leave now I will make sure each one of you pays for it". He said raged and she could feel the anger emitting from him that made her shiver
She had seen his anger and it was the worse thing ever. His eyes always burn in pure fury and anyone standing in front of him will be destroyed in seconds.
"Usman". She whispers softly watching as he turns around immediately
His eyes fall onto her and she finds the relief in them. He runs towards her pulling her body towards him into a tight hug. He inhales her scent trying to calm down his anger and worry he had been in for hours.
"Where have you been?. Are you hurt?. Why didn't you answer my calls?. Did something happened?. Was it the reporters again?. What--". He started as he looks over every part of her body trying to see if there was any sign of harm so he could kill the person involved in it
She didn't speak instead she holds his hand cutting his sentence off dragging him back to his room. He pushed him on the bed placing her hand on her hips glaring at him.
"What did I do?". He asked confused and scared at the same time
She raised her eyebrows, "Why were you acting like a madman?".
