A week went by since that night.

She had no sleep this week thanks to him.

She just remains thinking, thinking and more thinking. After watching him bruised had done something to her. She wonders what was that important that he had taken that beating for.

Thankfully, he didn't come after her for a week and she thought he understood that he had no chance. She has a meeting with Inaya because even though the hotel belongs to her Inaya is still the owner of it.

She didn't know Inaya was into hotel business however Inaya told her that she bought when she went to maldives for her trip because she was suspicious of Usman. She never actually thought Usman will do something as he did but she was glad she had a hotel just in case something do go down.

And it came handy. Because after she left Usman for good Inaya was the one who helped her through and hand her this hotel to build. She wasn't experienced to that level but she invested her pain, anger and desperation into it.

It resulted in the hotel growing and coming in the top in a short time.

That's one of the reasons as to why she wants to build another hotel. Because she wants to own at least one of it.

She never actually thought she would be as crazy as Usman about hotel yet here she is. She must have taken it from him but she will never admit it. Now, she had to prepare herself for the upcoming project of her new hotel because the owner of it is absolutely hideous. She needs to work it through somehow.

She spends her time in the office until the lunch break trying to put a plan through. She walks out of her office feeling the sharp rays hitting her squarely and she imagined how long it's been since she took a little time for herself.

She heard her phone ringing as she opens to find a text that made her immobile in the middle of the road. Her heart stopped until she heard screaming around her as she turns her head to the side she felt her heart about to leap out of her chest as the truck zoomed towards her making her numb to even think of a plan.

She closes her eyes tightly ready for the impact which never came. For a good 20 seconds, she waited patiently but then she opens her eyes to find herself in his arms which were wounded around her tightly in a protective hold. She could barely breathe as she took a long breath his scent filled her senses making her forget everything. The fear, pain and anger all went out of the way.

It was just them.

"My God, Jaan, are you ok?". He asked cupping her cheeks as he looks at her concerned

Jaan.

That broke her trance as she glares at him pushing him away but as she did that she stumbles trying to balance her shaking form and once again she found herself in his arms.

"Don't be stubborn. You need to calm down first then you can go ahead with having my head". He said softly moving his hand on her arm in comfort

"You are funny". She said flatly looking at him and those eyes she loved so much, "I can calm down myself. You will only rile me more".
