Summary: Y/N L/N Prepares for Eijirou Kirishima's Birthday

Drabble: "Wow, something smells sweet!"

You glanced over your ingredients, checking to see if you had everything that you needed.
Today was your boyfriend's birthday and your friends, as well as yourself, had decided to throw him a party. They even managed to convince Katsuki to help.
Izuku and Ochaco was in charge of decorations, Kyoko was in charge of music, Katsuki was in charge of keeping Eijirou away from anything for the party, and you were in charge of baking treats. Everyone was to bring a gift. You had decided on baking chocolate cupcakes with strawberry frosting and a cherry on top. You started the baking process after seeing that you had everything.

When you were pouring the batter into the cupcake pan, you heard shouting.

"No, you idiot! You can't go in there!"

"Bakugo, you can't stop me from being hungry. Plus, there's a whole bunch of strawberry PopTarts calling out to me, man!"

"Just buy some from the store!"

"I'm too hungry for that!"

You quickly hurried your task and put the pan into the oven. You then hid the piping bags, the bowl of frosting, and the cherries. You then tried to act casual, leaning against the counter by the oven and acting like you were on your phone. You saw Eijirou and Katsuki. Eijirou smiled when he saw you, his shark-like teeth showing.

"Hey, N/N!"

"Hey Kiri. Uhhh, how are you today?"

"Pretty good. Besides the fact that Bakugo was trying to force me not to eat. I'm just here for the strawberry PopTarts"

Eijirou walked over to pantry, looking for the PopTarts. Meanwhile, you glared at Katsuki, who glared right back. You walked over to him.

"Why didn't you stop him from coming in here?!"

"The idiot wouldn't fucking listen! I, at least, tried! Give me some fucking credit, L/N"

You and Katsuki tried not to be loud. It was easy for you, but not so easy for Katsuki. You both continued your mini argument until Eiji spoke.

"Wow, something smells sweet!"

You and Katsuki froze as you looked towards Eijirou. He was headed straight for the oven. Before you could say anything, Katsuki sped over.

"Alright, ya moron. You got your fucking PopTarts, now let's go"

Katsuki grabbed the back of Eijirou's shirt and literally dragged him out of the kitchen.

"Bye, N/N! Love you!"

"Love you too!"

At that moment, you heard the oven ding, signalling that the cupcakes were finished baking. You grabbed the oven mitt and pulled the oven door open, pulling out the cupcakes soon after. You glanced at them, checking to see if any of them were overcooked. You sighed in relief as they were all fine. You took the items that were hidden back out. You put the frosting into the piping bags and began frosting the cupcakes. After that, you gently put the cherries onto the cupcakes, trying not to mess up the frosting.

You looked over at the cupcakes, smiling to yourself. You set all of them on a tray, put the lid on, and picked them up. You walked out of the kitchen, watching out for Eiji.
You had successfully made it to the party room, aka the cafeteria. You set the tray on the table and glanced around.

"The decorations look great, guys!"

Deku and Ochaco smiled at your compliment.

"Heh, thanks L/N!"

"Thanks, L/N-kun!"

You turned and saw Kyoko in a DJ booth. You gave her a thumbs up and she did the same to you.

"Just remember not to eat too much sugar, it's very unhealthy"

Everybody glared at Tenya as he did his hand gestures. Sero walked in, glancing at the room.

"This gonna be awesome, guys!"

Katsuki then ran in.

"The moron is coming!"

Everybody scrambled to find hiding spots. Eijirou walked in, a confused look on his face.

"Bakugo?"

Everybody jumped out, yelling 'Surprise!'

Eijirou gasped, a smile on his face.

"Happy birthday, Kiri!"

"Happy birthday, Kirishima"

"Happy birthday!"

Kyoko pressed a button on the DJ booth, making a sound effect say "Happy Birthday!"

"Happy birthday!"

"Happy B-Day, dude!"

Katsuki crossed his arms.

"Happy birthday, moron..."

Eijirou smiled at everybody, tears of joy pricking his eyes.

"Guys. This is...amazing!"

You walked over and plopped a b-day crown on Eiji's head.

"Cuz you're amazing, Kiri"

You both shared a smile as you walked towards the food table together.

Eijirou sat in a chair, opening presents. They had just sang 'Happy Birthday' and eaten a bit.
So far, he had gotten some gear for his hero costume from Izuku and Ochaco, a book of memories of him and his friends from Tenya, a card from Katsuki, a bunch of comic books from Sero, and a tablet from Kyoko. He was currently opening your present. He gasped when he saw it.

"Sorry if it seems a bit lame, but-"

"N/N, are you kidding me?! This is great!!"

Eiji held up a signed Red Riot poster. He then looked into the box and saw something else. He grabbed it and glanced at a small black box. When Eijirou opened it, he saw two necklaces. One of them said 'Kiri' and had a gold chain and the other said 'N/N' with a silver chain.

"N/N. These are fucking amazing-"

Eiji put his necklace on.

"I feel so manly! Thanks, N/N! Same to the rest of you. Thank you for this awesome birthday!"

Everybody smiled at him, Eijirou smiling back.

You and Eijirou cuddled on your bed. He planted a kiss on your cheek.

"Thank you for today, N/N"

"No problem, Kiri. Only the best for you"

"Now I have to make your birthday just as awesome"

"Kiri, my birthday is four months away. Besides, my birthday doesn't have to be awesome"

"But it has to be for my queen"

You blushed at the nickname.
