Drabble: "But can I at least be your jerk?"

A/N: you're quirkless. Ya'll are also, like, 12 yrs old at first.

You wrapped gauze around Touya's burnt arms as he ranted about his father. You both sat outside at the playground.

"How could a piece of shit like him exist? Like, I don't even think he loves his family. He hits Ma with no hesitation. How does she even find a man like that?"

"So, why does he still keep you and your mom around?"

"Probably because I'm far more powerful than him with my flames. For my mom, it's most likely for more kids. There's already Fuyumi, Natsou, and I, but my mom's pregnant right now, so....yeah"

He watched as you cut away the remaining gauze.

"Thanks, Y/N. Again.."

"No problem, Touya"

You stood from your spot, putting the gauze in your pocket. Touya stood as well.

"Cya tomorrow, Touya.."

"Heh, yeah....cya tomorrow.."

You both walked away in opposite direction. The truth was that neither of you wanted to other to leave.

----(Three Years Later)----

"Touya!"

You ran towards him. He turned to look at you, a smile on his face. When you finally reached him, you were out of breath.

"I...got into...UA!"

Touya gasped.

"Really? That's awesome! What class did you get into?"

"Support class, mainly because I'm quirkless. But that's fine. At least I'm helping the heroes!"

Touya smiled at your positive attitude. Most people would've been sad or angry if they had gotten into the support class. But not you.

"Did you get into UA?"

His smile faded as he looked down.

"My dad says that I'm not cut out to be a hero. He wouldn't let me apply to UA"

Your eyebrows narrowed.

"Okay, seriously, what the fuck is wrong with your dad??"

Touya looked up at you. You never swore, you were too pure for that.

"I'm gonna give him a piece of my mind!"

You stomped towards the front door of the Todoroki household. Touya's eyes widened. He ran in front of you.

"N/N, it's fine. I could just find some other way to go to UA"

"That isn't the problem, it's the fact that he said you weren't cut out to be a hero"

You simply walked around Touya and went up to the front door. You knocked. After a few moments, his mom opened the door.

"Hello, Mrs. Todoroki, is Mr. Todoroki here?"

Rei nodded.

"Yes, but I don't think he wants to be--"

Explosions filled the house.

"I see. Can I at least give him a note?"

Rei nodded once more. She left, but came back with paper and a pen. You thanked her and began writing your note. You then handed it back to her.

"Please make sure he gets that.."

And with that, you walked towards Touya.

"You didn't have to that..."

"Yes I did. Besides, I had to find some way to prove my love to y- Dammit! I confessed!"

Touya just smiled at you.

"What're smiling about??"

He placed a kiss onto your lips. Your eyes widened before they fluttered shut as you melted into the kiss.

-------(Nine Years Later)----

You sighed as you walked down the moonlit sidewalk. Ever since Touya went missing, you've felt watched.
You missed your boyfriend, to be honest. He'd make you feel better. You froze when saw a dim blue light coming from behind you. Maybe it was the Hero Killer?

"Hey"

You stayed silent, frozen in place. 'Maybe if I just ignore them, they'll leave' you thought

"I know you can hear me, Y/N"

'And they know my name? What the hell?'

You felt an arm rest onto my shoulder. Your instincts kicked in and you attempted to attack the person. Unfortunetly, they were quicker. They grabbed your wrists and warned you to be quiet. You just began yelling for help. They sighed and covered your mouth with their hand. They then pinned you to a nearby wall.

After a few moments, you stopped yelling.

"I'm gonna remove my hand. And you're not gonna scream, right?"

You nodded as they removed their hand. You examined their features. He had black hair, bluish-green eyes, and staples on his face. It reminded you of somebody...
He sighed.

"Y/N, I'm so fucking sorry about not being there for you. I-I'm a horrible boyfriend. Er, was a horrible boyfriend, you would've broke up with me by now.."

"I'm sorry, but I have no idea who you are..."

He showed a hurt expression.

"I'm Touya Todoroki. Though, I go by Dabi now"

Your eyes widened. You slapped him.

"What the actual fuck, Touya?! First you just leave me, then you just wanna show up out of nowhere?!"

Touya said nothing, and neither did you. Suddenly, you began tearing up. Damn you, emotions. Touya pulled you into a hug, you beginning to cry into his shirt.

"I missed you, but you're still a jerk for what you did.."

"But can I at least be your jerk?"

You looked up at him, a smile growing onto your face. You stood on your tippy-toes and gave him a peck on the lips.

"Of course"

Dabi, as you started calling him, introduced you to the League of Villains. At first, you were shocked that he had become a villain. But, in the end, you didn't care as long as you were with him.
The two of you were just catching up and such, with Toga occasionally interuppting.

"So, how'd UA go?"

You took a sip of your drink before answering.

"Pretty good. Sure, the support class was boring, but at least Fuyumi came to visit me"

"Fuyumi applied to UA?"

You nodded, drinking the rest of your drink.
