Afterschool:

Diane: "Lance?"

Lance: "Huh?"

Diane: "D-Do you want to go and try this ice cream shop with me?"

[Lexi's POV]

You're probably wondering what's going on. Well, let me catch you up. During Lunchtime today, Diane absolutely failed at conveying her feelings to Lance. The special lunch she made for him was quickly devoured and enjoyed by Lance without noticing the shape or form of the meal. Seeing how that idea failed, it was up to me to design the perfect plan to make Lance fall in love with our canine lovebird!

What's the plan you might ask? Step 1: Ask him out. Simply really, but most people don't appreciate the approach. It's something close to a date but it's a snare to draw in the prey's attention. The first mission we need to accomplish is to just get time alone together. This'd be pretty trick if you're not too sure what might catch someone's attention but luckily, I'm well aware that Lance can never say no when it comes to food.

Lance: "Sure."

Diane: "R-Really?"

After class, Diane had to take this moment to ask Lance out, today was one of the few days that we actually have off of work. Knowing Lance, he probably had nothing in mind to do. Since, I was free as well, my goal was to keep watch and send advice to Diane as I saw fit. Speaking of which.

Diane's face was a lit with joy that made Lance get a confused face. Seeing how we were still just leaving the class, it was alright for me to be nearby. As her wing-gal, I stepped around and made sure to stomp on her foot to snap her out of her stupor. Wincing in pain with her fluffy tail and her ears standing on ends, I gave her a silent signal.

Lexi: [Don't lose focus!]

Diane: [R-Right! Got to keep focus.]

Lance: "Want to come too Lexi?"

Lexi: "Sorry~ I've got something to do, you two have fun~"

Walking calmly out of the room, I made sure to hide somewhere nearby to make sure I was out of sight. The pair walked out of the classroom. This step was pretty important! Measured distance while walking! Lance is socially ignorant and awkward. If he feels the least bit uncomfortable, he won't hesitate to run away! The proper distance to keep from him is exactly 9 inches away, around 7 inches, and Lance will start to back away. If she were to pursue, Lance would make a break for it. Maintaining enough distance will be key to making sure she can make it to the next steps!

Diane: (Alright, I believe I'm keeping a close 9 inches from him, I just have to remember what Lexi told me! As long as I maintain a steady distance he won't run away. Ha, this is kind of like playing one of those fishing minigames.)

The pair walked out of the school and headed towards the nearby Ice cream shop. For those of you unaware, this Ice cream shop is a popular couple's get-together. The special Strawberry Chocolate Banana Split has been known for drawing couples closer together. It's a massive dish of ice cream, unreasonably too large for one person to eat by themselves, it was made for two people to share. Ah~ but at last the trick of this treat is revealed. For students training to be heroes, such a treat was unreasonable for a girl to eat too much of, so many calories that'll go to all the wrong places in the body. Thus the couple's trap, since the girl can't possibly bring herself to eat it, it's down to the man to finish the treat giving him a sense of gender superiority. Yeah, it sounds a little sexist but in actuality, it's to make the man feel like he needs to be a man for the girl he's with. This feeling is to make the man assume he's doing it for her sake.

Lance: "Isn't this place...?"

Once they arrived at the Ice Cream parlor, Lance paused for a moment just before they got close enough to the entrance. What's going on? Why's he stopping? He doesn't know what's going on does... he?
