Sophie's 16th Birthday, 2 Days before Valentine's Day
We were in the middle of dinner when the doorbell rang.
"I'll get it," Sophie said, standing up and pushing in her chair. I followed her out.
She opened the door to a very handsome boy, holding a sweatshirt out to her. "You left this at Dex's. He wanted me to bring it to you."
"Oh! Thank you," Sophie said, giving him a quick hug.
"I'll let you go-sorry if I was interrupting anything-"
"No, no," Sophie insisted, "It's fine. We were just having dinner-oh!" She turned around to face me, "This is my cousin, Brooke. She actually wanted to meet you."
"So this is your boyfriend?" I asked with a smirk, crossing my arms.
Sophie glared at me. "We're just Valentines."
"Same thing."
"Nice to meet you." Fitz said with a smile. I smiled back. "I should get going-see you later?"
Sophie smiled and nodded. Fitz left, shutting the door behind him.
"He's cute. You made a good choice." I smirked, and went back into the room. I scowled when she couldn't see my face. Ugh.
She always got the hot boys.
