Awakening

Levi's POV

With Sora's sudden scream of pain, and the huge lightning bolt that fell from the sky, I couldn't tell what was going on. I hold on to Sora and attempt to calm her down. She doesn't stop though. Her whole body is shaking and she is clinging onto me tightly like she is having a nightmare.

I am beginning to get scared... Sora hasn't had any peaceful months or a month in a long time. Something always happens and Sora is affected badly by it. Wether it was her getting sick, going though pain, or something happens to someone close to her... She always gets through it and doesn't complain. She is a brave girl...

Suddenly, as Sora begins to calm down and cry into my shoulder, someone bursts into the door. "Levi!!!" It's Hanjis voice. She appears in front of me and gasps at Sora. "What happened to her?"

"I don't know..." I quietly say as I stroke her hair.

"Well... A titan appeared not too far from your location! You have to get out now! It's heading this way!"

I immediately spot a 10m titan out my window and yes, it is heading this way. I pick up Sora on my back and dash out of the house along with Hanji. There are 2 horses standing in front of our home. Sora and I get up on it and we gallop away.

I look back to see the Titan. "How the hell did a Titan get in here!?"

Hanji sighs and also looks back at it. "It must be a Titan shifter. There is no other logical explanation for it. A huge orange lightning bolt smashing the ground and a Titan appearing? Not to hard to figure out."

"But..." I look at the Titan again. It looks like it has a certain goal in mind. It has its eyes set on our house. And, he is forced into a sprint. The horses gallop faster and faster as the Titan gets closer to us and our house. I wasn't clear on anything right now...

As soon as the creature reaches our house, I am forced to watch it as it crushes everything. Including the single grave under the willow tree...

As it rips though the remains of the house, it appears to be looking for something. It looks around and then spots me and Sora, but... It turns around and runs away...

Lukas POV

I don't understand! My mother is the girl who I have been trained to kill! That isn't right at all! Why would my father even do such a thing? Was he using me? Did he use my intelligence just to kills he woman who gave birth to his son?

My father and I hear a crash not too far away. My father laughs and yells, "So he has awaken!! My new toy. My new fighting machine! He is officially mine for the taking!"

"What?!" I yell. "What about me? What are you going to do about me!?"

"Oh you. I have no use for you now."

My heart feels like it was gouged out of my chest and stomped on. How can he say that to his son...

After a few hours, I didn't bother to ask questions. How did Jordan end up like this, how did Jordan suddenly come back alive, how is he a Titan... I packed a bag and left my father, and I head for the HQ where my real mother might be.

2 hours later

I finally got the courage to go to the front door of HQ. There are two guards there and they immediately seemed to recognize me. "Oi! You!"

I panic but sadly let myself get captured... They restrain me and take me through HQ. I glance around for Sora and Levi. I am officially confused about everything as well... What happened between my father and mother really?

Unfortunately I don't see them anywhere. The men lead me down to a cellar looking area. They lock me in and I sit on the single bed. But before they leave, I frantically ask, "Please let me see my mother!"

The guards seemingly ignore me and in left alone...

Levi's POV

Sora has finally ate something. She hasn't eat anything sense last night but she has been too shaken up by what ever she experience. I wish I could do something...

"Levi Heichou!" I hear a man say from behind me. I turn from the chair I'm sitting in. The man looks serious. Sora even turns around.

"I'm not sure if this is good or bad news... But we found Lukas Smith outside of HQ."

Sora's eyes widened and I don't even wait to respond. "Take me to him right now!"

Sora stands first and tears already form in her eyes. I hold her shoulder and stand. Then we follow the man down to the cellar and as soon as I see Lukas, I sneer and yell, "why did you do it?! You made Sora's life miserable!! You killed our son! Why!!"

The is silent and he looks like he is crying.

"What do you have to cry about scum?"

"Levi..." I hear Sora whisper. "Please don't... It was Erwin..."

"What? It was Erwin yes... But he played a part in Our sons death!"

"He must have been... told false things... You know that... Please just let me speak to him..."
