Levi's POV

After Sora finishes the story, I glance at Lukas who is standing there speechless. I'm sure he didn't know anything of his fathers past judging how he didn't even know his own mother.

"B-but... Why would he...?" Lukas asks quietly. "I can tell you are a nice person... You don't seem to hate me after all I did..."

He suddenly stops talking when I see Sora begin to fall to the ground. I immediately grab her and hold her close to me. When I look into her eyes, they are misty and dark already. Then, she starts to scream and cry. As much as I try to calm her down, even though I didn't know what was going on, she wouldn't stop.

"JORDAN!" She screams as she begins to fade out.

"Sora! Stay with me! Come on please!" I plead. I don't want her to go out cold again... I feel so bad when she doesn't wake up for days... Her health is an issue too... And... "We were planning on watching the stars tonight remember...? Please... Stay with me..." I say as I sob.

I then feel a hand touch my cheek. My eyes fling towards Sora's open eyes. She is weakly smiling and she also had tears coming out of her eyes...

"Don't worry... I... I'm going to watch the stars... I promised... Remember...?"

My eyes widen and I hold her closer to me in my arms. I my emotions have been all over the place with what recently happened... With Jordan dying and Sora still in pain... It's too much for me. If I lost Sora, I would definitely lose myself.

Sora insisted we watch the stars even though I said it was fine if she rested for the night. We left Lukas because Hanji wanted to speak with him. He still has to get the punishment for his crimes. I'm fearful for him.

However, before we go outside, Hanji calls us. Her face doesn't look impressed and she looks very angry. We both walk over to Hanji and ask what the problem was.

"Well... Lukas is obviously going to go to court. But... His sentence was already decided..."

She leads us into her office and we are asked to sit down. Once we do, Hanji immediately starts.

"Well... You know what this kid has done in the past. He was trained by his father if one goal, kill Sora. He has practiced with older victims who lived underground and he was forced to kill them. Then, he assisted his father to capture you, Sora, and torture you, in order for you to slowly die. Then... Worst of all... He was with his father, threatening to kill Sora, then instead killed Jordan. Some sick crimes can only be solved one way..."

My heart races. No no! It can't be... Not... Not that...

"He must be executed for his crimes."

Sora's POV

The words she said struck me like a thunderous punch to the face. They can't execute my son... Then, I would have lost both of the children I gave birth to...

"No! You can't do that!" Levi says as if he was reading my mind. "She just got him back! Normally the court wouldn't do anything if he is already sentenced, and he would be publicly executed in front of many people, all within a day!"

"The judge can't make an exception because he is Sora's son. He has to pay for his crimes. He killed your son. We can't forgive him..."

Hanji stands as if to say she doesn't want to hear complaints. "What's done is done. He will go to court tomorrow and be publicly executed. Nothing more on this topic. I'm sorry Sora, but it's for the best..."

She then walks out of the room, and I grab hold onto Levi and quietly cry again.

"I don't want to lose another... Levi..."

"I know.... I don't want you to go through the pain of losing someone else but..."

He looks at me. "All we can do, is go out to watch the stars. Please Sora... Smile..."

"Okay... I will promise you something..."

"Hm?"

"If you promise to say with me forever and never leave my side, I will do the same. So please... I know it has been a long time since we have met, but I don't want to lose anyone else..."

"Of course. I love you Sora."

"I love you too Levi...."
