Levi's POV
I felt like I was in a haze for so long. The last thing I saw was Jordan disappearing. It was a terrible thing.... What Erwin did to my son... Our son... He manipulated his mind and made him make it his mission to kill Sora and I. Erwin really wants us gone... And now our own son lost his memories, and he wants the same...
------------
I groggily open my eyes. I can see a small light surrounding me. A candle is lit on the stand next to me. Pain wreaks my body, but I don't notice it as much.I look down at my limp hand. When I attempt to lift it, all it can do is shake. I flip my hand back down and sigh. I must have been in real trouble... The bandages on my two arms look fresh and clean. I can feel one wrapped around my head as well. It wasn't too tight to make my head hurt but it did force, I believe, the blood to stop.
When I turn my head, I can see an empty stool next to my bed. The door is slightly open and I see a candle lit in the hallway. I hope that is Sora. I haven't seen her in so long... I bet she was in shock when she found out what happened to me. And... I hope she knows about Jordan...
I can hear a distant voice in the hallway and it didn't sound like Sora. Hanji?
"Hey hey... You have to take it easy sometime. After what you did to yourself, you barely have the energy to stand. Personally, I think you took it a little too far. I'm sure Levi wouldn't have liked what you did,.. Hurting yourself because he was hurt is too cruel."
"I couldn't... I couldn't stand it..."
"Hm? What do you mean?"
"Levi being hurt... Then... Just yesterday you told me Jordan was the one who hurt him. I couldn't believe you... But when you told me exactly what happened, I couldn't take it. I felt as if I lost everything. I thought Levi was going to die and... If that happened, I wouldn't be here... I would have used all of that drug too kill myself..."
"Why would you...?"
"Because Hanji... I would have lost everything I was destined to live for. Without Levi, It would have been like losing myself... He has always been there for me. When I needed to cry, someone to talk to, or anything else I needed. He was there. He was the one who rescued me from a certain death. Without him, I wouldn't have to be here."
I can feel tears coming, but I did the best I could not to let them surface.
"Still... I have known you for what seemed like forever. I don't want you to be hurt. All I want you to do now is rest. You have been up for over 24 hours watching over Levi. Just sleep."
I can hear the two moving into the room. I close my eyes so Hanji doesn't see that I'm awake. I hear Sora sit down in the stool and Hanji leaves.
I feel Sora put her head down on the bed. Her breathing is a little rapid and when I open my eyes, her state looks terrible...
Her face is extremely pale and she looks much more thinner than normal. What has she been doing while I was out?
I notice something... Tears in her eyes? She doesn't seem to be falling asleep, but she is crying. But why?
I slowly attempt to lift up my hand, despite the pain, I successfully touch her cheek. Her eyes snap open and she immediately begins to son even more. I stroke her hair and she cries and cries...
"I missed you Sora... I overheard your conversation... Did you really want to... Feel my pain?"
She looks up at me and shakes her head. "That doesn't matter now. All that matters is that you're okay."
----------
I came to find out that Sora was one who would tend to my injuries. Every few hours, even late at night, she would change my bandages and give me painkillers. She took care of me like I would do to her... At least, I am with her once again...
