Third Person POV

The titan disappears along with Erwin, but there is a bigger problem to deal with. Levi...

As Hanji gets to the ground, everyone is silent as they spot the bloody and broken Levi. Eren panics and runs over to Hanji as she sets Levi down. "We need the medical supplies immediately." She quietly orders. As she leaves to get it, Eren, Mikasa and Armin stand over Levi. Blood covers him and he doesn't look alive at all.

Eren suddenly kneels down and grabs Levi's collar and screams, "Don't die Captain!!! Don't give up! Don't leave Sora alone!!!"

"Eren." He hears Mikasa say from behind. But he ignores her.

"Please Captain... Don't die..." Tears run down Eren's face and he slowly puts Levi down. He is alive, but it seems very unreal and unlikely that he will survive.

When Hanji comes back, she has a full squad of what seems to be medical personnel. They immediately begin to work on Levi. Stopping his bleeding, sewing up any gashes, checking for broken bones; which will most likely be present; and his pulse.

They could have been there for almost an hour. In the area where they are, it is impossible for a Titan to get in. But, since it was a Titan shifter... And Jordan to be in fact.

Eren's POV

I stand there silently and wonder what I will tell Sora... She won't be able to handle it... I know that... She has been through so much and now she will find out that the only person she really has left is on the brink of death.

I can't take it... I don't even think I will be able to tell her...

Once we get back to HQ, all is silent. Most people, after getting out of their gear, go straight to bed. Hanji and the medical personnel take Levi into a room and I wait... Mikasa and Armin are still with me. They both look sad and depressed as much as I am.

"What are we going to tell Sora?" Armin asks.

"We have to tell her the whole story... But..." I stop and I begin to cry again. "What if Captain dies? Then what will happen? She needs him! He is the only one she had left! She lost her son, her other son will be executed tomorrow, she lost her home and the grave of her son!" I slam the wall. Mikasa grabs my shoulder. "First, let's see if she is awake."

I sniff and nod. We all walk upstairs and head to where Levi and Sora were staying. The door is cracked open slightly, but the room is dark and I can hear the small breaths of Sora like she is sleeping.

But then I hear a small voice. "Levi? Is that you?"

I open the door and the light hits Sora's tired looking face. "Oh Eren. I thought you were Levi."

I sigh and just as I was about to walk into the room, I freeze when I spot a few scars on Sora. Especially the one clean on her neck where Lukas almost killed her. I can't do it...

"Eren..." I hear voice from behind me say. Then Hanji appears from behind me and pats my shoulder. "I will do it.."

She walks into the room and sits on Sora's bed. Sora already looks really worried. "Please don't tell me..."

Hanji sighs. "I guess you. Can say that... Levi is very close to death and we aren't sure when he will recover... If he can..."

"No..." Sora's eyes fill up with tears and she sobs. I feel so bad for her... She can't seem to catch a break from all of these unfortunate events...

"Where is he...?"

"Down in the small infirmary."

Sora stands and immediately goes to the infirmary. I follow her along with Hanji. Mikasa and Armin leave us to go to sleep.

When she gets down there, I can see she is shocked. Levi is laying in the bed, patched up but looks in pain and in terrible shape.

Sora kneels down in the floor and grabs Levi's hand. She gently squeezes it and cries, "You promised me... You would come back okay...

"Are you going out there...?"

"I have to. I have to find out who this titan is. I can't let it roam around."

"Okay.... Promise me you will come back okay."

"When do I ever break a promise?"

"Okay. It's a promise."

I heard the conversation from my own room... He can't die... Not now...

Sora stuffs her face into the bed sheets. "Please... don't leave me..."

So that picture I have with this, I um... Found that online and edited it a bit. Just to add the dramatic feel. I know I'm kind of terrible for writing this but trust me, other fanfictions of mine are almost the same. If you like Free! I have 2 sad ones XD
