Chapter 1: John's Nightmares

4:48 am

John was up always an early bird. He grabbed a glass of water sat down in his living room and began his daily workout.

He didn't really seem like the type of guy to work out but then again that hair gel wasn't doing him any favors. After 45 minutes John finished his workout and got straight into the shower, he turned the heat up high and began washing himself. "I had a nightmare again... always that fucking nightmare" exclaimed John.

He was thinking about his old school that he brutalized and brought to the ground. Not literally but he ruined pretty much everything.

By 6:30 am John was ready for school but he didnt have to be there for another two hours. He grabbed a cute little plastic box with a pig face on it and started cooking up some of his best pancakes. "Maybe I should put bacon in it?" He thought to himself "nah she'd definitely hit me".

He finished up the pancakes and kept them in the container so they'd stay warm. He walked over to seraphina's place and dropped them off with a note saying "wake up sleepyface". Sera soon got up about half an hour later and found the adorable surprise John left her and she began digging in immediately.

John was at school getting his books ready for the day. He checked his timetable and saw that he only had 3 classes today. "Maybe sera will go to that boba place she likes with me"

John thought practically half asleep. "Wake up sleepyface" sera giggled referring to the joke John made a few hours ago.

John couldn't help but smile at her joke. "Psh whatever" he playfully pushed back. Sera wasn't backing down just yet however, "you got a bit of an attitude there princess" She smirked.

That definitely woke him up. He jumped out his chair and got right in her face, fuming with rage, he knew he had to get her back.

"Think think think John" he stayed calm on the surface but he was face planting in his mind "aha!" He knew this was going to get him hurt but one thing that would for sure work was an adorable compliment,

"Sera hates compliments" he thought, this was perfect payback for all those times she had beaten him in their playfull banter. "You better be careful before I wipe that smile off your face missy, it be a shame for a face as adorable as yours to frown" he smirked.

Seraphina's face lit up with heat. Blood pumped to her cheeks giving her an adorable natural blush. She began almost tearing up and quickly turned away. "Damit I can't let him see me like this gosh it's so embarrassing why does he have to do this to meeeee" sera cried out in her head.

"Fine you win this time John that was so unfair you can't go calling a girl cute like that out of nowhere its completely unfair aghhhh".

She was clearly mad at her defeat, John couldn't help but smile. Oh yea he almost forgot "hey sera you owe me a favour". "Huh wait what? She said quietly, wonder where he was going with this.

"You said if I ever beat you in an argument (if you can even call this an argument) then you'd do anythingggg". Panic struck sera, she knew she owed John a favour but she was scared at what he would ask. "That boy he better not make me do any of his chores I already do his homework" she reminded herself.

"Well? What do you need master" she played, his face immediately shut down and he began blushing bad. "Uh will you take me to that boba place again, I'll pay don't worry" he laughed her comment off. "Sure thing" she licked her lips at John as she left.

"What's that supposed to mean?". She giggled and ran off to her dorm. They didn't realize how much time had gone by but they were free for the rest of the day.

They met up at John's place and headed out to that boba place. Nothing special happend they just ordered their favorite drinks (apple and strawberry) and played pig games while arguing but laughing about it soon after.

John walked sera back to her place before he went home to his apartment" Hey John you didn't have to walk me back you know?" He wanted her to be safe and wouldn't leave her side until she was. "Stop complaining I kept you safe just go to bed" he winked "goodnight sera".

He began walking back home "Night night John see ya tomorrow". "Damn she's cute" he thought. When he got home he went straight to bed. He began having that stupid nightmare he always has.

He saw him holding his classmates collar on her shirt. He was covered in blood but not his own. He smacked her face finishing his mission. Keon made him feel so much guilt and so much pain. "You ruined everyone's lives", John was familiar with these words. He told himself it everyday and he listened to keon say it every night. He was talking to him. Always. John woke up with tears of shame and guilt running around on his face. "Fuck!", He needed serious help.
