Niall agreed to stay. Only because of Demi. He misses her. It's so hard since he wants to be with her but when he is with her... his heartbreaks.

He just couldn't win.

He sat in the living room next to Taylor and Selena, stealing glances in Demi's direction.

"NIALL" Selena said sternly, gaining Niall's attention.

"Are you listening to me?" Selena scolded.

"Oh. Sorry I was thinking of something else." He told, his eyes moving directions again.

"UGH" Selena scoffed.

Niall really wasn't paying a attention to the conversation but if he did he wouldn't really care anyway.

"Niall. Me and Selena are going to have hot lesbian sex in the bedroom. You can come and watch."

This did gain his attention. He just couldn't help himself when he opened his mouth and say.

"Selena and I" he corrected.

The two girls groaned, annoyed at their friend. They both left leaving Niall alone with a soon-to-be empty bottle.

Niall took one last chug before heading towards Demi.

"Hi" he greeted kindly, beer on his breath.

"Hi" she replied, wine on hers.

"I saw that guy you're with" Niall seen her with him while Simon was buying wedding rings.

"When?" Demi asked sounding confused.

"A couple of days ago, at the mall." He explained.

"Niall" she chuckled "that's my cousin."

"Ohh..." he said making her smile wider.

"So when am I going to meet this lucky guy?" He wanted to know who he was competing with.

"One day, one day" she told.

The two didn't say anything after. They just starred in each other's eyes. Demi was the first to break it.

"So how's Stacy going?"

"Oh..." Niall honestly forgot she existed at this moment. "

we're alright, she's a sweet girl. Really sweet." He lied it was awful. The last time he saw her, she sent a dead cat to one of the girls at school Niall talked too. Niall has changed his number but she seemed to figure it out.

"Well that's good" Demi was happy that Niall was happy as well. Both of them are very happy.

"Hey" Taylor cut in "hate to interrupt... whatever this is but Niall, Harry says you need to go home... NOW"

"Can I have five more minutes?" He complained.

"Well he said" Taylor read the message Harry sent her, word for word "if Niall doesn't get his pale arse here soon. Then I am going to strangle him in his sleep."

She looked back up at Niall waiting for his answer.

"Well I guess I have to go then" Niall huffed.

"I'll meet you at the car" Taylor left the two alone hoping Niall will be quick.

"Guess you gotta go" Demi said sounding sad "when will I see you again?" Niall didn't know how to answer that.

"Soon..." that was his answer and it was the best mixture of tragic and perfection.

Demi eyes flickered over his face. Like she was encoding it in her memory, not knowing how long it will be until she gets to see it again.
