The weather matched the mood of the set upon the town. Many people gathered to mourn a young girl forever gone. The skies were grey and tears fell as Selena was lowered into her grave. Prayers and heavy goodbyes were in the air causing pain in the hearts of those who heard them. Selena may never feel pain or despair again but, for those she felt behind it couldn't be said the same.

People step forward throwing rose petals on her ebony casket, in an attempt the keep the beauty in a life that ended too soon. Balloons and droves were released in a way that it would guide her up to heaven, It was painful letting those balloons go as it was telling them they should do the same thing with Selena. Taking a moment of silence, one-by-one those who came to more her death, left to gather again and celebrate her life.

The reception still felt gloomy, Niall felt nothing could pick him back up from the incredible lost he felt. Like that there was something missing from his body that he needed to properly function.

"It was a beautiful ceremony wasn't it?" Demi smiled, dropping in the seat next to Niall. He knew that smile wasn't genuine, it was more of her attempt to try and march through this painful time Demi will have to go through. A horrible new chapter in her book of life. She was always like that, Demi was. Whenever she had a step back no matter how big or small, she'll always raise as soon as she can and get through her problem. Something tells Niall that it'll be different this time.

"It was," Niall agreed with Demi's statement. Even though it was saddening and the weather was cold and the air was thick, the ceremony was very respectful to the life Selena lived. But, Niall did feel like smiling, fake or not. A few tears slipped from his eyes refusing to hold them back any longer. Demi acted quickly embracing the distressed boy, letting him cry on his shoulder.

Now, even though Selena moved schools after the incident, everyone minus him came to say goodbye. The funeral was huge with everyone wanted to pay respect to the lost in their community. Selena only had a heart of gold, she always saw the best in everyone. Something that isn't easy for just anyone to do. It was ashamed that out of the pair, she was the one to go.

Liam sat with Simon and Zayn, as Harry and Niall was morning with there friends. It was a tough week for the Cowell's. After Louis' runaway, and Niall and Harry's friend died. It's safe to say it wasn't a happy household.

"So, what did the lawyer say dad?" Liam asked, knowing that Simon and his lawyer have teamed up recently to try to gain back custody of Louis from his mother. But, how the lawyer was saying it, it didn't seem that Simon had much of a chance. Louis' mother never lost custody or gave away her rights to Louis. Lady just gave Simon consent to have temporary guardianship. Yes, Lady couldn't just take away Louis but, if he got into a legal battle for full custody. He has little chance of winning against a biological parent. So, he had three choices; go into a custody war and risk losing Louis forever, dig up dirt on his sister that will prove she's unfit as a mother, or wait for Louis to choose to return to him. The police are looking for Louis. Simon just wants to know that he's safe and Lady is looking after him. But, so far Lady is off the grid and it's been really hard to trace her.

"It doesn't look good," he admitted sadly. He didn't bother to keep anything from his boys. They deserved to know what was happening.

"We can't just do nothing," Zayn complained. How in any way is it fair that she just abandoned her son for years, letting him believe that she's dead, then just come back into his life and take him without even a warning. It just wasn't fair.

A sound of a bang from a microphone being plugged into an amp broke the conversation between the family. Zayn, Liam, and Simon turned to the two grieving parents and Selena's younger brother calling for the attention of everyone around. The mother started her speech. It wasn't hard to tell she's been weeping. Simon didn't blame her if one of his boys died... God, he didn't even want to think of that as a possibility. The thought made him sick inside. He couldn't imagine what they could be feeling.
