One Big Family

The Rehearsal Dinner

It was the day of the rehearsal dinner and the big day wasn't far away and everyone seems to be going crazy... well mostly just Karen. Everything has to be right and everything has to go her way and if it doesn't... well three words: Big. Temper. Tantrum. The boys like to call one of her moments "The Big One" the time Karen's shoes arrived and they were eggshell white instead of seashell white. Can you believe it? They gave her eggshell... EGG-shell. What a starter.

Louis was back in the household and as much of Karen, Frank and Maria's requests, he wasn't leaving. Simon even refused for the boy to sleep in his own bed. Now usually Louis was the clingy one but recently Simon has traded roles like if he let go of the boy for a second, he'll be gone forever. No one blames him anyway. Louis' never been not been by his side for longer than 24 hours since Simon gain legal custody of him when he was four.

Liam and Harry were walking on eggshells. You see Louis gave them a threat and Louis isn't the sweet and cuddly little boy the everyone thinks he is. But deep down, deep, deep, deep down. That boy was the source of all evil in the world. No one ever expects it with his stupid, innocent face and his blue eyes. So the boys were worried when the first attack will hit. They needed to come up with something fast.

As for Louis, he was different since Ashley broke up with him. He's so quiet, so depressed. All he seems to do is just cry. But behind those tears, Louis is angry, he's angry at his brothers but mostly Karen. She's the one who destroyed the ring. She's the one that will have to pay.

"Honey I'm home" Karen called getting no reply. Simon was in his office doing the job that requires him to manage bands and stuff. That's how Karen described it, she didn't quite fully understand what he did... nor care. Louis was obviously with Simon, Simon wouldn't let his baby leave and Louis was okay with that, It meant he was able to have cuddles with his daddy and also watch what Simon was doing. He has learnt a lot from just watching what he does to manage his business. It was also a bit boring but at least it distracted him from Ashley. Sometimes it was tiring and Louis would often fall asleep in Simon's lap. This was not one of those times.

This time he waits and waits until he hears the...

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Karen screamed at the top of her lungs. It has come to the point in this family were her annoying screams doesn't even phase the family anymore.

"SIMON!" she yelled getting her future husband to roll his eyes while he left his work he was focusing hard on. Simon carried Louis on his back. He wanted Louis to stay put in his office but no way would Louis ever miss this.

The two followed by Zayn and Niall walked to the front door where a very angry Karen stood. She was huffing in anger and hunched over ready to kill, she was covered with white glue and colourful features of red, blue, green and yellow.

"SIMON" she let out a high pitch scream making the kids and Simon flinch.

"LOUIS. DID THIS. I DEMAND YOU DO SOMETHING" she ordered. Oh, of course, it was Louis and Simon knew it was Louis, and the boys knew it was Louis, it didn't make the less funny though. Simon tried to keep the laughter in and the smile off his face to prevent upsetting his future bride. He tried and failed miserably. Niall and Zayn tried to hold their laughter in but it seems they couldn't do it either. Louis was the only one who didn't even give a smirk. He just held on Simon's back, feeling dead inside.

At this perfect moment, Paul decided to join in on this moment.

"Woah, what happened here?" he smiled trying to dodge the angry woman.

"Oh, SHUT UP" she snapped at Paul "Simon do something with that brat" she whined like a little kid whose parents didn't get her the right doll. She left the men and boys, retreating back to the bathroom with full hope that this glue will get out of her hair.
