Percy frowned at the former hunter. "But I can't go back. I'll die of I go back."
Zoe Nightshade frowned. "Did you doe when fighting Gaia? Or the giants? Did you die in Tartarus? No."
Percy sighed. "This is different Zoe!"
Zoe sighed. "I talked to Nico. He was reluctant to even speak to me but he said there has been monster armys building up trying to get in."
Percy didn't reply.
"Clarrise is traumatized and refuses to fight. And if she won't fight her cabin won't fight." She continued.
Percy frowned. "I don't get why she's being so dramatic."
Zoe glared at the sea prince. "PERCY BECKENDORF DIED IN HER ARMS!"
Percy nodded. "I forgot she was with him."
Zoe sighed. "You were supposed to go with him on that quest."
"I know I was. I just feel bad. Maybe if I had gone with him he'd still be alive."
Zoe nodded. "He wouldn't want you to let everyone die. Because if you don't fight that's what's going to happen. We're all going to die and you'll be Kronos' pet. If he let's you live."
"I just don't want to do it."
"Then prepare for death. Unfortunately we won't go to Elysium since it will be destroyed." Zoe said as she got up and walked away.
Percy looked at the sky. "I don't know what to do." He mumbled to himself.
"Stay here."
Percy turned to see Luke sitting next to him. "Just stay. Your not doing anything wrong. Just be happy." Luke said.
Percy sighed. "I wish I could but everyone's mad at me. Nico's gone. Annabeth refuses to talk to me. Silena hasn't come out of her room. Bianca won't even look at me. Thalia just glares at me."
Luke frowned. "Percy think about you. Be happy. Aren't you happy with me?"
Percy nodded. "I just need my bestfriends to forgive me. I don't want my home to be destroyed. I don't want anyone to die."
"It's not your fault. Your not pulling any triggers Percy."
Percy sighed. "I need my friends to be okay. I'm gonna go talk to Annabeth."
Percy got up and walked sadly up to Annabeth's tent.
Percy knocked on the door.
The tent opened to a very angry Bianca. "You have a lot of nerve coming up here."
Percy frowned. "Is Annie here?"
Bianca reluctantly nodded. "It's next to the bathroom." She said.
Percy nodded and walked up to Annabeth's room. The daughter of Athena glared at him.
"Come to abandon us even more? Don't bother we'll be gone in the morning and you and Luke can die by yourselves. Everyone in the resistance are coming with us so you'll be alone." She spat.
"Annie this isn't fair!"
"What's not fair is abandoning everyone knowing that without you we're all going to die!" Annabeth retaliated.
"Why do I have to fight! What about Thalia or Nico or even fucking Jason!" He growled.
"You know it was you in Rachel's prophecy!" Annabeth yelled back.
Percy sneered. "Why can't I be happy!"
Annabeth shook her fingers at the sea prince. "No one says you can't! But why leave us all to die! What about your fatal flaw!"
Percy glared at the backpack she was packing. "So what your just going to leave!"
"I'm going home Percy! I'm going to fight to my death! I know I'm going to die without you but I'm going to fight for the hope someone will survive!" She yelled.
Percy just frowned.
Annabeth glared at him. "Bit you stay here with him if that's who you want to be. Sell yourself out for him. Bit I know this isn't you. He did this."
"What's your problem! Why do you hate Luke so much!" Percy yelled.
"Because he took you away from us!"
Percy paused. "What do you mean?"
Annabeth kept packing. "Don't you get it Percy! Your here but your not here! You've changed! He did this to you and I will always hate him for it!"
Percy frowned. "It's still me wise girl."
Annabeth shook her head. "I always thought it would be me and you. I always hoped you looked at me how I looked at you. I should have known."
Percy squeezed her hand. "I didn't know that was how you felt. I'm so sorry Annie. If I had known."
The daughter of Athena sighed. "I just have to know. Did you ever think about me how I did you?"
"I-I I'm sorry Annabeth but I don't think I did. Your my bestfriend." He said.
"I thought so."
Percy looked at her backpack. "So will you stay?"
Annabeth shook her head. "No Percy. Peoples lives are at stake. And I will stand up and fight because I know what is right. I will fight with my life."
"But you'll die!"
Annabeth sighed. "I know I will. Bit I will fight for our future. I'll fight for what you won't."
And Percy knew she meant that with her whole heart.
