Nico had never been more confused.
Will and Axel seemed to know something he didn't. He was being smothered from both ends had he didn't understand why.
They spent any time around each other glaring or smothering Nico.
Axel leaned down and kissed Nico. Will almost immediately pulled Nico into a bone crushing hug.
"Alright I need to help Annabeth. See you later."
Axel frowned. "Why are you helping my sister?"
Will rolled his eyes. "Dude please, I've known Annie since we were seven. You just got here and you don't even sleep in her cabin."
"Well I sleep in Nico's cabin."
Will scowled and walked away. Axel kissed Nico again. "Wonder what's his problem, then?"
Nico shrugged. "I've got to go. I'm teaching combat."
Axel nodded. "Ok. Date later in the park? I'll set it up."
Nico nodded and walked away. Being with Axel was not always ideal for Nico. He was a little too left field.
He loved physical attention, which Nico hated. And Axel demanded attention and got angry when he didn't receive.
It was almost living hell. ALMOST.
There were good things about him too. He was cute as well as funny. He was nice and had gotten on well with all Nico's friends.
But he just made Nico feel a bit iffy.
It wasn't really that big of a deal. At least to Nico it wasn't. Bianca felt differently.
"Break up with him!" She said.
Nico shrugged. "You're probably right. I don't know Bia."
Bianca rolled her eyes. "Would you like me to do it? I always thought you and Will should have stayed together. It isn't to late, you know."
Nico rolled his eyes. "I'm still leaving tommorrow Bia. I can't do that."
Bianca sighed. "Why are you leaving? I'm here. He's here. Why not just stay."
"I'm moving on. This place has never really been my home. I just had to stay here to be safe from monsters. But now I can take on more than an army of monsters. Why stay here."
"Well I'm going to tell Axel that it's over. I'm not going to make you but I think you should talk to Will. If you're going to leave at least say goodbye."

Nico woke up the next morning by Axel, the last person he wanted to see. "So you're in love with Will? I guess I saw it coming."
Nico rubbed his eyes. "You did?"
"Yeah. So are you going to talk to him?" Axel asked. Nico shook his head. "I'm just leaving."
Axel frowned. "Are you dumb! You like him and he likes you! So what's the issue! I will steal your clothes if you don't talk to him."
Nico sighed and got up. "Can you hand me a shirt."
Axel threw him the shirt and Nico threw it on.
Nico went outside and found Will outside looking at the hill view. "Will?"
Will looked over at him. "I heard you're leaving today? Axel got you the little studio?"
Nico sat down beside Will. "It's over. Me and Axel, I mean. I'm still leaving though. I just thought I'd go and say a goodbye."
Will nodded. "I'm going to miss you.
Nico sighed and dropped his head on Will's shoulder. "I love you too." He said. Will smiled. "I knew."
Nico nodded. "I'm still leaving. I've got to."
Will sighed. "I know you do. It would be selfish of me to stop you. I just wish you wouldn't."
"Why don't you come with me."
Will turned to state at Nico. "What?"
"Why don't you come with me."
