Chapter 29

Thalia's Pov:

I woke up to find that Daddy was not in the room and neither was Toothless. I sat up in bed feeling much better than I had been since I got here. 'Mummy was right about the medicine making you feel better.'

I wonder where Daddy is though. Maybe I should go downstairs and look for him. I climbed out of bed taking my toy Bubbles with me since I go everywhere with him. I made my way to the door and opened it.

I left the room and walked towards the stairs, I sat on my bottom since I am too small to reach the stairs handle. And I shuffled down the stairs on my bottom. Once I got down the stairs, I went into the Kitchen, but Daddy was not there. So, I looked somewhere else in the house.

I walked over to the chair thing that was in front of the fire and found Daddy asleep there with Mummy beside him. I walked over to Mummy and Daddy to wake them up. "Mummy, Daddy" I called but they did not wake up.

"Mummy, Daddy wake up," I called again. This time I saw that Mummy was starting to move. "Mummy wake up," I called pulling on her hand. "Thali what are you doing out of bed," Mummy said. "I came to wake you and Daddy up."

She sat up and rubbed her eye. "Hiccup wake up." Mummy shook Daddies arm. Daddy moved. I held my arms out to Mummy so she could pick me up. Which she did and I sat on her lap. Mummy put her hand to my forehead then pulled it away.

"Are you feeling any better today Baby?" Mummy asked me. "I am feeling better Mummy," I said. "Daddy wake up." I then jumped on to Daddy and made him groan. "Thalia what have I said about jumping on me to wake me up." Daddy said as he covered his eyes with his arm. "Daddy says for Thalia to not jump on him and get Toothless to wake you up."

"That is right. And What do you think you are doing out of bed Missy." Daddy said. "Daddy was not in the room. I came looking for you." I told him. I giggled when Daddy started to sit up and making put my arms around his neck.

"Hiccup her fever is gone," Mummy told Daddy. Dad put his hand to my head just like what Mummy did. "Your right it is gone." Daddy said. I have no idea what they are talking about. "Daddy, can we fly on Toothless?"

Hiccup's Pov:

"Daddy can we fly on Toothless?" my daughter asked me. I can't believe that her fever has finally gone. After days of having it and after just four dosages of medicine it is totally gone. She is looking so much better as well. "Daddy? She calls.

"Hmm," I said. "Can we fly on Toothless?" She asked me. "Once we have breakfast then we can go on a flight if that is what you want to do," I said.

"Can Mummy come with us?" She said while looking at Astrid. "I don't see why not. So, what do you say M'Lady would you like to go on a flight with us after Breakfast?" I asked her. "I would love that." She said.

"Well, then I better get a start on Breakfast," I said as I transfer Thali to Astrid and stood up and headed to the kitchen to start on breakfast. That was when I heard someone come down the stairs. I turned to see who it was and saw my Father coming down.

"Morning Son."

"Morning Dad." I greeted. "What time did you and Mum get in last night?" I asked me. "It was late. You and Astrid were both asleep, so your Mother went and got a blanket to put over you both." He explained.

"Hi, Grandpa." I heard Thali say to her Grandfather. "Good Morning Thali. Looks like you are feeling much better." He said. I heard Thali giggle when Dad took her from Astrid and threw her up into the air then catching her. Just like he used to do to me.

As I was cooking breakfast and Dad was spending some time with his Granddaughter. Astrid was sitting at the kitchen table watching me cook. "What?" I asked her. "Nothing. Just still cannot believe that you can cook." She said. I left breakfast to cook by itself and walked over to my girlfriend.
