It's been a month since you died. . .
Dream's POV
I looked over at the clock and read the time. 3:02 AM. I grabbed my jacket and the bouquet of flowers, before heading out the door. I snuck past everyone's rooms, careful not to make any noise.
I left the HQ and then teleported. I would have done it inside, but everyone would have known about it. Stupid security system. I walked through the beautiful scenery, not really paying attention to where. I had walked through here so many times that I had memorized the path. I entered the familiar clearing and sat down on the preset blanket.
I placed the flowers next to the stone plaque in front of me and read the words inscribed on it for what felt like the hundredth time.

Tears pricked at my eye sockets. "Hi y/n! How are you doing?" I paused for an unheard response. "I've been doing okay. It's just not the same without you though." I run a hand over her name on the grave. "I really miss you. I'm supposed to be the guardian of positivity, yet I feel sad constantly. It's easy to fake and I try to distract myself, sometimes it works, but I don't know how long I can keep this up."
Tears silently streamed down my face. "I'm such an idiot." I looked down and smiled. "Heh. Remember how whenever I would come back from a fight you would take care of my injuries and you would always call me an idiot. Then I would respond saying that I was your idiot. I loved those little moments."
Silence fell on me as I recalled all of our memories together. My smile grew and the tears kept coming. "I-I'm s-so so sorry. I know that y-you said that you d-didn't blame me, but I kn-know that it's my fault."
I leaned forward and hugged the stone. "I love you so much."
"I know."
I sit up straight and look around. I heard her voice. My body starts trembling and I burst out into tears, throwing myself back on the stone. It was hard, but I didn't care. I stayed there for hours, unmoving.
"Come back. . . Please."
