" by" I say hugging my mum and dad.
I ran off to the old red train with the letters 'hogwarts' on the side of the first carriage. I walk on and looked for an empty compartment, I found one by the back of the train and sat down. I looked out the window and waved at my mum and dad who began to walk away from the big crowd of parents. The compartment door opened and a tall boy with slick blond hair walked in followed by a pare of to large,intimidating looking boys.
" hi " i said holding out my hand toward the blond boy. He looked at my hand and sat down the other side of the compartment ignoring me.
"I said hi" I say a little bit more aggressively holding out my hand again. He didn't even look at me.
I decided not to say anything else and looked out the train window as we began to move. I felt a pare of eyes on me so I looked over at the boys, the blond one was looking at me but looked away when he noticed I'd seen him. The rest of the train ride was quiet the boys across from me where whispering something to each other but I couldn't tell what it was. As we arrived at hogwarts I looked out my window and saw a huge castle. It looked cold inside and I felt like it was watching me as a shiver shot up my spine.
The train came to a halt and the three boys got up and left the compartment I followed them out the train and onto the edge of a lake full of boats. A round tall man stepped out the train and hobbled over in front of the big group of first years I was stood in.
" I'm hagrid keeper of the keys here at hogwarts now I want you to get in a boat no more that four a boat" he said climbing into a boat that he filled by himself. I walked over to an empty one and sat down. I saw the three boys head over in my direction and then get in the boat I'm in.
The boats began moving toward the castle quite quickly. The blond haired boy kept looking at me the hole way there but I just tried to ignore it. The boat came to a stop at the other side of the lake and I clambered out and walked over to hagrid who was stood in front of a big wooden door. As I walked up to hagrid the door opened to reveal a short hall filled with trophy's and red carpet. I looked at hagrid and he Gestured me in followed by the rest of the year. As I got to a big door at the end of the hall a cat appeared and stood in front of me.
Suddenly it turned into a tall slim lady.
" I'm professor mcgonigall I'm your deputy head, now when these doors open you will walk through and your names will be called one by one to decide your houses" she said then disappearing.
" I'm mafoy" the blond kid said as he walked up to me holding out his hand "draco mafoy"
I ignored him as he did to me and the doors began to open to reveal a hall filled with students all sat at long tables. We all began to walk forward. The ceiling looked like the night sky it must have a spell on it I thought.
" Ron weasly" professor mcgonigall called.
A ginger haired boy in scruffy robes stepped forward and sat on a stool at the front of the hall facing everyone. A hat was placed on his head.
"Aah a weasly" the hat said" I know what to do with you GRIFFINDOR"
The ginger boy ran to the table filled with cheers and sat down.
" Draco mafoy" professor mcgonigall shouted
The blond kid walked up to the front and sat down. The hat barely touched his head before it shouted
"SLITHERIN"
He grinned and ran to a table filled with people dressed in green robes.
"Y/n y/n" professor mcgonigall shouted.
I walked up to the front and sat on the stool. The hat was placed on my head.
"Aah miss y/n I know what to do with you SLITHERIN" the hat shouted
I smirked and walked over to the slitherin table and draco mafoy patted next to him but I walked past him and sat at the end of the table and sat on my own.
They finished sorting everyone into houses and we had started eating. I looked up and saw draco looking at me I don't know why but he just keeps staring at me so I mouthed at him what? And he looked away. Once the meal was over a 5th year led us to the slitherin common rooms and the girls dorms. I put my stuff on my bed and sat down. I don't like the fact I have to share a room with 20 other girls but oh well. I decide to go explore the school so I got up and headed down stairs toward the library I saw a door with restricted on it and I remember dumbldor saying it was the restricted section of the library. I looked about then walked in and a bell went off so I ran out the library into the hall. And ran into an empty classroom and shut the door.
"Oy" I turned around to see draco and his two minions sat on the desks facing me.
" what are you doing rushing in hear" he snapped
" I tried to go in the restricted section on the library" I said giggling and out of breath.
"Ok I see you failed now get out" he snapped
" no" I said walking over to them and sitting in front of them.
" so what are you talking about" I said
" none of your business" crabb shouted
" alright I was just asking"I said putting my hands in the air and walking to the door.
"I'll leave you girls to your convocation" I said shutting the door behind me. I walked back up to the girls common rooms and led down shutting my eyes.
