Chapter 35

Vansh was back in the hospital after a quick nap and eating some solid food. He made sure Simran ate enough food and took her medicines.

He sat next to her bed and talked to her like he was a child who suddenly learnt to talk. Varun looked at his brother in surprise.

"What are you staring at?," Aanya who was sitting with him on the couch asked.

"I've never seen my brother speak so much in 22 years of my life!," he replied.

"Maybe that's why he loves her.. Coz he finds it easy to talk to her and share his feelings. Maybe Simran is the girl who has opened him up.."

"Seriously..," Varun raised his brows, "And I thought you were anti-love."

Aanya gave a hearty laugh and said, "No! I never was anti love! But let's say I've seen love more than I should have. I've seen my own sisters be hung over just one guy in their lives. I've seen Keya after her break up with Aarav. I've seen Krish after the death of his girlfriend. I've seen them go through so much of hardships. Then now I saw what love put Simran into. But that won't make me anti love coz I've also seen the other side of the coin. Like my sister is getting married soon to a guy who will keep her very happy. Tanya finally got the guy she had been waiting for. Keya is madly in love with Vivan. Krish has moved on finally. Simran has a family now. Everyone is happy.. The cause of both the things is love. As they say, time heals everything.. You always get something that you want from your heart. But there would be sufferings and hardships. And I believe I'm not yet ready to face those. I don't want such love where I would have to face all this."

"What if you don't have to? What if for you love is nothing but lovely," Varun said that and immediately both of them laughed.

"I don't think love is worth of taking the risk. I love myself too much for that," she replied.

"That's so you!," he smirked.

"Whatever!"

"But guess what? I'm gonna follow your footsteps! Coz even I have eyes and even I can see and I saw that you are the only person out here that has been forever happy!," he said.

"What are you two laughing about so much?," Vansh turned around and asked.

"AntiLove!," both of them said together and thus burst out laughing.

Simran and Vansh just stared at each other coz they were clueless.

"Vivan told me you were supposed to be in the office so I think you can go now. I'll be here," Vansh told him.

"Even I shall go and check on my sisters. Both of them are busy and might need my help," Aanya said.

"Not a problem. You guys leave and come back in the night. I'll be fine," Simran told them.

Varun and Aanya gave Simran a small hug and left.

"They've been by my side twenty four seven. Especially your brother. He has grown quite attached to this child," Simran told Vansh, "I wonder how they are getting along though.."

"Varun has always been like that. He has a really soft heart," he said.

"He sure does," Simran said and told him about her time in India.

"Vansh get me out of this hospital please. I'm bored here. I want my baby to be in fresh air," Simran complained.

"What's wrong in this room? We are on the 15th floor of the hospital and have a balcony! Come we shall go and get fresh air."

"I wanna be HOME!," Simran said again.

"Fine!," Vansh gave up, "I'll talk to the doctors and see what we can do."
