I have to move away from the lake. I'm going to pick some fruits. It's phase 1 of my brilliant idea. I fill up wherever space I have left in my water bottle, just in case. I start walking away from the water. I know now where the water is but I'm still cautious about loosing it, loosing my whole sense of direction really.

I find a few bushes with blue berries on them. I have to make sure I know what kind of berries they are. I pick a few of them to check them out. They could either be blueberries, or nightlock.

There are differences between the two. The main one is that the nightlock's juice is poisonous. You can tell which berry is which by crushing them.

A blueberry's juice have a low viscosity, nightlock's juice has a high viscosity. That's because of the poison.

I crush the berries and the liquid doesn't flow out immediately. Nightlock. Perfect. I pick a whole bunch of the berries and head back to my original tree by the water.

My parachute is still up in the tree. I take the medicine out of it and I put it in my pack. I haven't checked my arm since I got the medicine.

I unwrap the gauze on my arm and it's scabbed up. I'm so relieved. I keep the medicine just in case this cut opens up, or worse, if I get any more.

I take the berries out of my jacket's pocket. They still look fresh. I but them into the container attached to the parachute. I wrap the parachute around the container and place it on my pack.

I get down for the tree and I start walking. I pretty much know my way around the arena by now. But just in case I mark my tree with my knife.

At the base of the trunk I carve a 4. The tribute from 4 died in front of this tree so people would think it was meant to be hers. But I know what it means. I know this is my way of remembering my place, and not being to obvious about it.

I hear a cannon. Another tribute is dead. I climb back up my tree and I wait. I do this in case the victim was nearby. Or more importantly, the killer.

I see the hovercraft pick up the body, but I can't tell who it is. All I know is that the person died nearby. I shouldn't move, but I have to. I must go through with my plan.

I walk in the direction of the cornucopia. Which also happens to be the direction of the last death. I can only hope I don't find the murderer, or anyone at all.

Maybe the tribute died of natural causes, or nightlock maybe? I'm getting really paranoid, however they died, I don't want the same fate. Not now, not today.

I swim across the lake and I get into the woods. I've got to get to the center of the arena. The cornucopia. I just have to keep moving forward.

I hear footsteps behind me. It must be the killer of that last tribute. I don't even know who it was that died. I start moving faster the footsteps move faster as well.

I'm now running across the trees. The person behind me is so loud. Their feet are stomping across twigs. I think I have a death wish.

I turn around and I run right towards the footsteps. I see a flash of blonde hair. At first I think it's Cato but then I crash right into him and we both fall on the ground. I look up and I see to my surprise I see Peeta.
