"So uhm.. this is Taeko Akari, she was captain during our third year." I gestured towards the girl before me who was fixing her already neat hair. I wonder how much gel she uses everyday for every strand to be in place?

I decided to just introduce everyone since the tention was just to thick it was disturbing. Akari's expression shifted into a different one in a second. She flashed them a smile as she held her head high in a way as if saying were lucky to be in her presence.

"Pleasures yours." Oh look at that I was right.

I exchanged looks with some of the boys before coughing akwardly. A small smile on my lips as I stifled a laugh.

"Anyways thats Reiko." I pointed at the blonde who pushed her blonde hair back as she gave them a wave. I swear her make up is so heavy her face would sag from all the weight.

'Doesn't she get tired of applying that much make up on two faces every morning?'

"Chiyo." I pointed as the girl who was busy with her phone. She waved her hand without looking up as she blew her bangs out of the way.

"That's Ohara Yuki." I said as I gestured to the short girl with purple dyed hair who was smiling sheepishly. Her gaze was darting everywhere but not at me.

"And well.. Misaki." I smiled, a real smile, at the girl who still had a special place in my heart. Sure it's cheesy, but Misaki has always been like a sister to me, especially since Kohana and I didn't go to the same middle school.

She had a neutral expression as she nodded politely towards the boys. Unlike Reiko, she had nothing on her face that was fully exposed. Her ginger hair was in a messy bun, her peircing black eyes gazing intensely, and her skin was pale to the point it was gray. Misaki was around my height, but she was slouching so she seemed a tad shorter. A habit she never bothered changing.

"And for them, just call them whatever you like." I said as a laughed at the boys fallen expressions. Tanaka-san and Nishinoya-san were practically drooling at the sight of more girls.

After properly introducing the boys as well, Michimiya-senpai soon arrived and everyone started warming up.

It was a good thing Kohana was able to get her senpai to play with us since I couldn't think of anyone to play with us.

The rest of the girls who wouldn't be playing started making their way to the benches. Much to my suprise, Chiyo was with them. I already assumed she would be playing with Akari and Reiko but I guess the third player is..

I glanced at the three girls at the far corner and my brows shot up.

It's Misaki. I'm playing against Misaki.

.

"Just a little moree~~ pleeeaase Mimi-chan!" Misaki shook her head as her blue haired friend imitated the annoying girl from their class who always want other people to do her work.

"Stop. You look stupid." Katsumi let out a laugh as she picked up another ball.

"She is stupid." The girl snickered as she faced her pale teammate.

"Ten." Misaki said, making Katsumi tilt her head.

"Ten tosses, no more. Then we go straight home." Katsumi smiled as she nodded and walked to her position.

Unlike Katsumi, Misaki was exhausted and was badly eager to get some rest. But seeing the smile on her friend's face, she couldn't help the small smile that crept up on hers.

"Hurry Mimi-chan!" Katsumi said as she acted like their 'stupid' classmate once more.

"You're lucky I can't unfriend you."

"I love you too Misaki."

Misaki rolled her eyes playfully as she got ready to toss. She will only set for this girl, or for the team this girl was on, and she hopes it stays that way.

.

"Hey Katsumi." Katsumi's train of thoughts were interrupted as she looked at Akari who had a sly grin on her face.

"Mm?" Katsumi raised her brow.

"Show me which ones are the same year as ours."

'Oh.'

Akari and Reiko always had this little game of theirs were they use their popularity to wrap boys around their fingers. Katsumi always thought the idea itself aas deplorable, but she was in no place to tell them off during their third year.

"Uhm.." Katsumi trailed off as she eyed her teammates.

"Oh c'mon we just wanna know." Reiko said, her voice high-pitched as ever making Katsumi wince.

"Well.. that's Hinata and Kageyama.." The girl gestured towards the two who were on their daily bickering schedule. ".. That's Yamaguchi.." She freckled boy who was caught staring, making him blush madly as he turned around.

"And Tsukishima." She finished pointing at her blonde boyfriend.

"That's all for the first years. Why do you even need to know? You're here for like a day only." She muttered but made sure they heard.

"You're no fun. Looking at them for a while now I believe the green haired- uh, yamachichi-"

"Yamaguchi."

"Yea whatever, is a little akward. Those two fighting are very simple-minded after hearing what they've been saying, and... where is he?" Akari stated this casually since she always judge people since Katsumi could remember.

"There he is. That's the one. He's the serious type right? I saw him remove his glasses and he's really hot. He seems smart as well but he most likely could be a tsundere."

'Oh he is. He also already decided he doesn't like you so shove off.'

"I don't think-"

"I want the one with the blonde strand on his hair." Reiko rudely interrupted.

'Pfft, if I told Noya-san what kind of person you are even he wouldn't want anything to do with you.'

"Anyway..."

Their heads turned towards Kohana who pushed herself up from the floor and dusted her shorts.

"I think we're all set."

She grinned and linked arms with Katsumi and Michimiya before turning away from the two girls.

"Fucking flirts... am I right senpai?"
