"Why didn't you tell her?" We heard Harry saying as we entered the Room of Requirement.
"Bellatrix. You knew it was me, but you didn't say anything."

He's talking to Draco.
Ron and I crept behind a pile of junk and watched from a distance. There was Harry, along with Crabbe, Goyel, and Draco. Their wands were drawn at Harry.
Draco what are you doing?

"I see your boyfriend's priorities have changed." Ron snapped quietly.

I did my best to ignore his rude comment and focused on the conflict in front of us.

Draco hesitated. He was clearly uncomfortable. That's when Goyel started whispering in his ear, "Come on Draco. Don't be a prat."

I couldn't take it anymore. I jumped out from our hiding spot, "Expelliarmus!" I yelled, pointing my wand at Draco's.

His wand was knocked from his hands, and he and his friends began to retreat backwards.

"Avada kedavra!" Goyel yelled towards me.

"Stupefy!" I shot back, dodging his curse.

Ron and I ran towards Harry as the three of them ran off. Ron immediately went after them, "Malfoy! I'm going to kill you!"

Oh geez.

"He's found out then, hasn't he?" Harry asked as he began climbing to the top of a pile of junk.

"You could say that." I answered.

Harry climbed to the top and I followed closely behind him. He then reach out and grabbed the tiara he had been talking about. That's when we started hearing Ron's screams.
"AHHHHH!" He yelled coming towards us, "Goyel's set the bloody place on fire!!!" Ron then ran passed us completely.

Harry and I saw a flaming serpent coming near us at a rapid speed.
"Bloody hell!" I yelled as we both turned on our heels and ran behind Ron.

We turned every corner possible and we still ran into the fire. Left and right. There was no where to run!
At one point Ron tripped and crashed into a stack of brooms.
"Grab them. We need to fly our way out of here." Harry yelled and tossed brooms towards us.

I mounted the broom and kicked off into the air.
Where's Draco?
I couldn't help but worry about him as I took notice of my surroundings. The entire place was up in flames!
That's when I saw him. He and Crabbe were standing on top of a pile of rubbish.
"Harry! We have to help them!" I yelled to him.

"Are you bloody serious?!" Ron exclaimed.

"She's right. We can't leave them!" Harry yelled back to us.

The three of us swooped around and headed to them. I reached out my arm towards Draco and he latched on instantly. I pulled him onto the back of my broom while Harry grabbed Crabbe.

We dodged the fire surrounding us until we found an opening and zoomed through the doors. We tripped as we made contact with the floor below us and Draco and I went flying forward. Behind us Harry stabbed the tiara and  a burst of flames raced towards us before the door closed. Crabbe immediately ran off down the hall, leaving just the four of us.
Draco held out a hand and lifted me up off the ground, "You came back for me."

"How could I leave you?" I answered back, standing on my feet.

"You. You bloody prat!" Ron spat at Draco, pushing him against the wall.

"Ron! Stop!" I exclaimed.

"What is it Weasel?" Draco asked in a snarky tone, "Mad I got the girl and you didn't?"

"You brainwashed her! That's what you did!" Ron then punched Draco in the face.

Before I could even react, Draco pulled Ron's hands off him and knocked him on the ground, "Don't you ever touch me again, Weasel. You hear me?"

I pulled Draco's arm and separated the two as Ron stood back up.
Harry took hold of Ron, "Okay let's just settle down now."

"Settle down? How can I?" Ron asked Harry, "You can't tell me you approve of this nonsense?!"

"I don't need anyone's approval." I told him, "I am most certainly not brainwashed either."
Draco turned to me with lust in his eyes as I looked back towards him.
"I love him."

A smile formed on Draco's face as the words left my mouth.
Ron on the other hand was clearly still distraught. And then there was Harry...he stood very awkwardly between the three of us not exactly knowing what to do.

Draco suddenly looked down at his arm, lifting up his sleeve and revealing the dark mark.
"He's calling us." He said, then looked up to me, "I-I have to go."

"Don't leave." I begged.

"I don't have a choice." He replied sadly, "He'll kill me and my family."

"Go then. Run off." Ron spat, "See you on the other side of my wand, Malfoy."

Draco glanced to Ron and gave a disgusted look before turning back to me and kissing my lips, "I'm sorry."

"I understand."

Draco nodded to Harry slightly as if he were apologizing, then he softly made his way out of the hall and toward the enemy.

"We don't have time to argue about this anymore. Harry. What's next?" I asked trying to change the subject.

"Nagini. She's the last horcrux." He explained, "Its going to be tough. He never leaves her. The only way we'll be able to kill her is...to go to him."

Little did we know that getting to Nagini would be way harder than we expected.
After Harry essentially spied on Voldemort, we found out he would be near the docs. While there, we learned quite a lot about Snape and his whereabouts. Snape died right in front of us. It was brutal. The fighting at Hogwarts had already begun. People had died. Teachers and students. Harry knew what he had to do, but it pained us to let him go through with it.

Harry had come back from Dumbledore's office, looking shocked. Snape had handed him his tears to look into his memories.

"Harry?" I asked, "Is everything alright?"

Harry clutched Draco's wand in his right hand in disbelief, "All this time he was keeping me alive...just to make sure I died at the right time."

My heart leapt in my chest, "What do you mean?"

"Snape was protecting me this entire time, he wasn't our enemy. He helped Dumbledore keep watch over me." He explained, "Neither one of us lives while the other survives, Hermione. I was the Horcrux he never meant to make."

Tears formed in my eyes as I realized what this meant, "No. No Harry."

"I have to go to him. I have to meet him, just as he wants."

"No, Harry you can't." I cried.
There has to be another way.

"I can't keep having people die for me!" He exclaimed, "I have to do this. I have to finish it."

Ron stood beside me, unable to speak.
My tears were flowing down my face now. He was just as heartbroken as I was.
"Oh Harry." I whispered.

Harry turned to Ron and hugged him hard, "I'll be okay. You'll be okay."

Ron grabbed hold of Harry and balled his eyes out, "We can do this. You can do this. You're my best mate, you know that right?"

"Of course I do. Just as your mine." Harry replied, "Tell your family I love them and that I said thank you for taking care of me all these years."

Harry then came to me, looking frightened but ready to accept his fate, "Hermione."

"You're my best friend too." I said as if I read his mind.

When Harry walked away, Ron stared off in the distance in shock, but the expression quickly washed off of his face when an explosion to our left knocked us off of our feet.
"Ron!" I called and helped him up.

They were inside. The death eaters were inside Hogwarts.
Ron wouldn't move!

"We have to go, now!" I yelled to him and we ran off to fight for our school.
