"So...you and Draco then?" Andromeda asked as I sat down in the living room. She brought over a cup of tea for me and placed it on the table.

"Yes." I nodded, "I was tutoring him last year and it just sort of happened."

Andromeda smiled pleasantly, "Well, I can't say I'm surprised. The boy talked about you all the time."

"Did he?" I asked curiously, "Hopefully good things?"
Most likely not...

"Mmm, well..." She chuckled, "He teased you because he liked you though. It was quite obvious. He and I are really close actually. We write each other often without his mother knowing. My sister and I don't have the greatest relationship. Kind of rocky, but I eventually pried the truth out of the boy."

I sat there listening in disbelief.
And here I thought he hated me for all those years. Funny how that works.

"Andromeda. Do you know where they've gone?" I asked her, "I want to make things right. He didn't chose this life."

"Please. Call me Dromeda." She said sweetly, "I do know the area they're hiding out in, but I don't know an exact location. I couldn't give you a specific address, I'm afraid."

Of course not.
I knew it wouldn't be that simple.
"Well, that's better than nothing."

"They're somewhere in the Isles of Scilly." She admitted, "Do you plan to free his family as well?"

Honestly, I hadn't thought of it. As far as I was concerned, Draco was the only one who deserved freedom.

Apparently my silence was more than enough because Dromeda shrugged towards me, "I couldn't blame you, dear. I don't think they're quite innocent either."

After talking with Dromeda for a bit, I headed on my way and thanked her for everything.
When I returned back to the group, they looked to me anxiously waiting for details.

"Well, it took you long enough!" Ron complained.

"Relax, Ron. I know where we can find him." I told them, "Him and his family are somewhere in the Isles of Scilly."

"Do we know an exact address or location?" Ginny asked.

I shook my head, "No, but it's something. It's more than we knew thirty minutes ago."

"Well, I say we fly at nightfall. That was muggles won't be able to see us." Harry suggested, "Until then, we could get a head start and take the train."

"Do we even have brooms to begin with?" Ron asked.

Harry and I looked to him with a dumbfounded expression.
Of course we did.
"Ronald Weasley, do you even know me at all?" I giggled, lifting up my purse.

Ron shook his head, "Ah...extension charm. Right."

When nightfall finally came, the four of us finally hopped on our brooms and zoomed off into the night. Traveling by broom is much more efficient and quicker than the train. We flew until we couldn't hardly keep our eyes open.

We quickly made it to The Isles, but we didn't know which island Draco and his family would be located in. We decided to head to the Eastern Isles first. There was only small amounts of population on the tiny islands, so we had to pitch a tent near the coast due to the lack of places to stay.
After pitching the tent and casting charms for protection, we settled in for the night. We used the same tent from last year when we were hunting horcruxes. Harry and Ron took the left side of the tent, while Ginny and I took the right. As I slid into bed I couldn't help but let my mind wonder.
These islands are too small. I just know he's not here. Maybe off a bigger island? Somewhere abandoned maybe?

"Lost in your thoughts?" Ginny said, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Oh...yeah. Just thinking of where to go from here." I explained, turning to face her.

"Well. Things seem to be going well, aren't they?" She said optimistically, "We've only been traveling for a few days. We're so close to him."

I nodded in agreement, "Makes me feel better knowing that."
Ginny was right. If we hadn't found Dromeda, I don't know what we would have done.

"I forgave him, you know." She said quietly, "For the part he played in all this. At first I couldn't stand the thought of you and him together. When I found out he was a Death Eater, everything that happened between you two went out the window for me. But I understand now. Malfoy was just a boy caught in the middle of something that was bigger than himself. He did what he had to do to keep him and his family alive. I would do anything for my family."

I appreciated Ginny's kind words. It made up for all the times she told me to forget about him last year.
"I appreciate it, Gin." I smiled, "We should get some rest. We have a long day ahead of us."

She nodded, "Nox." And the lights went out.

The next morning we headed out into the area. We looked practically everywhere on the small island, but found nothing. We decided to hop over to the next island, St. Mary's. It was much bigger than the previous, which made it that much harder.
We asked around villages left and right. Searched high and low for any sort of magic around us. We found nothing. We searched St. Mary's for three full days before we decided that Draco and his family couldn't be on the island.

"Okay...where to next?" Harry asked me.

It was strange being the leader of the group for a change. We normally followed Harry around, but here he is...taking orders from me.
"Well. I say we check out the next island in line. St. Angus."

"Mione. There's a castle on St. Angus." Ginny pointed out, "Do you think that is a good place to check out?"

"It could be. The Malfoy's sure to enjoy being extravagant." I agreed, "Might be pretty obvious though. We'll definitely check it out. Thanks, Gin."

"Mione?" Ron said, "How long are we going to look for him? What if he's not actually here?"

"Why wouldn't he be?" I asked.

"Do you think Andromeda lied?"

No. She wouldn't have lied. Right?
"No. I think he's here." I answered.
I can feel it.

When we arrived at St. Angus we headed straight for the castle. It seemed logical. The Malfoy's had a taste for fine living. Maybe even when they were in hiding.
The castle was quite old with some major structural issues, but it was gorgeous. It was right by the coast too, which matched Draco's description in his letter. Ginny and Harry decided to take the back half of the castle while Ron and I took on the front.

"There's a lock on it." Ron pointed out as we reached the entrance.

I pointed my wand at the lock, "Alohomora."
The lock then popped open and we cautiously stepped inside. It was very dark. It didn't look like the place had been touched in years.
They can't be here. There's no way.

Just as we were about to give up, I noticed something odd. In one of the rooms, there was clearly a disillusionment charm. Not many could spot it out, but I studied disillusionments for months preparing for our journey with Harry.
"Ron." I said, grabbing his arm, "There's a charm on this room."

"There's nothing there, Mione. What do you mean?" He asked.

"Someone's been here." I explained.

That's when I heard a very familiar voice, "Granger?"
