The four collapsed onto the ground, Vanya held steady, head pointed out. A sharp breath racked her body, a flash of purple light bursting from her eyes. The world was silent for all of two seconds, her chest collapsing in and then surging outward and up towards the sky. A bright beacon of light ripped through the ceiling, off of the earth and past the atmosphere.

Vanya Hargreeves collapsed unconscious to the ground.

Klaus was the first one to his feet, running backwards to the rows of seats. "Leta!" He scrounged around for a moment before coming to her, unconscious on the ground. A gasp pulled out from between his lips, bending over and putting a hand under her head, the other under her legs and lifting her up.

"Hey!" He sprinted up to the stage, setting her down next to the others. "What happened?" His question was directed at Allison, who was cradling Vanya's head in her hands. Klaus leanded her unconscious body against his own, running his hand up and down her back.

Diego kneeled down next to them, moving away her hair, holding back a bit of a gasp as he spotted two trails of blood, each rolling down from her ears. He looked up at Klaus with concern, then up at the sky.

His heart sunk, tapping Klaus on the shoulder. "What?" He muttered, running his fingers through her loose curls. Diego pointed upwards, the others following his gesture.

Allison let out a gasp, pulling one of her hands to her mouth. The moon had been fractured, an enormous chunk of fire falling towards the earth. Luther's mouth hung open a bit. "That's not good."

They were too late.

Klaus turned his back to the hurtling space rock, readjusting Leta in his arms so he could look at her face. She was so peaceful. Diego rested a hand on his shoulder. "So this is it." He rubbed a finger down the side of her cheek, the simple rise and fall of her chest the only thing he could think about. "So much for that later huh?" He muttered to her.

Diego moved to his feet, "If only Sir Reginald could see us now, the Umbrella Academy. A total failure."

Luther looked down at Allison, the woman meeting his gaze teary eyed. "At least we're together at the end. As a family."

They were silent for a moment, the failure of a family together at last.

"What if this doesn't need to be the end?"

Those who could turned to Five, the boy looking between each of their desperate faces.

Luther shifted, glancing up at the sky and then back to Five, "What? What are you saying?"

"I think I have a way out of here, but you have to trust me on this." He held out a hand, palm pointed up at the sky.

Klaus stared up at him, fingers laced in with Leta's. "I'll do whatever you say. Just..." He squeezed her unconscious fingers. "Just get us more time."

Diego crossed his arms, tilting his chin down at the boy, "Well, what's your idea then?"

"We use my ability to time travel, but this time." He looked across the weary faces turned to him. "I take you all with me."

Diego suspiciously knit his eyebrows, "You can do that?"

"I've never tried."

Diego chuckled, looking over to Luther who still had a look of disbelief plastered on his features. "What's the worse that could happen?"

Five gestured down to his preteen body, "You're looking at it."

Diego paused, weighing the consequences. Klaus jumped in, looking up at Five. "I'm in."

Diego nodded, looking at his brother and sister on the ground, "Me too."

Luther pursed his lips, tilting down his head. "I'll go. Allison?" The woman rapidly nodded her head in approval.

Luther looked over at Klaus. "What about Ben?" The man glanced over his shoulder, turning back to the group and giving them the affirmative.

Five bounced a bit, shaking his head a couple of times. "Great, Luther, grab Vanya, Diego, get Leta." The man bent over, gently lifting the unconscious woman off of Allison's lap. Once she was moved, Allison rose and stood next to the man. Diego pat Klaus on the shoulder, him wearily letting her go and rising next to them.

Luther glanced over at Five, a bit of concern drawn on his cheeks. "Are you sure we should bring her with us? I mean, if she;s the cause of the apocalypse, isn't that like taking a bomb with us?"

Five shook his head, rubbing together his hands. "The apocalypse will always happen and Vanya will always be the cause. Unless we take her with us... and fix her." They all gathered in a circle, Five instructing them to take each other's hands.

Klaus rest his hand on Diego's shoulder, the other in Five's hand. Allison held his other hand, an arm wrapped around Luther.

A blue flash of lighting appeared above the seven, a swirling wind of light throwing itself into them.

Luther looked up in amazement, Five screwing up his face in concentration. "It's working!" He shouted.

The boy's face continued to contort with pain, hands white knuckled as he gripped onto his siblings.

"Hold on!"

A blue burst of light exploded around them, and suddenly they were gone.

A blast of fire roared across the landscape, charring everything and everyone in its path. The world was covered in smoke and fire, destruction ringing across the globe.

There were no survivors.

The Apocalypse had won.
