November 24th, 1958
Dallas, Texas
Wind swirled around her, head coulded and confused. She stared up at the blue swirling mass, shoving her body up right. She recognized it, time travel.
She stood on unsteady legs, staring up at the sky, opening up her lips.
Nothing came out.
She could feel the vibrations the words she wanted to say, but she could not hear them.
"Klaus!"
She tried again and again and again. Rain sliding down across her face. And it was just gone.
The light disappeared, leaving her alone in a dark alleyway, rain pouring down around her.
Leta rushed out, cars rolling by on silent wheels, people staring at her like she was growing horns.
"Can someone help me?" She called from voiceless lips. No one replied.
Her shoulders shook, silent sobs pulling out of her lips.
A man stopped, looking at her with a crooked stare. He walked forward, moving his lips.
She held in another cry, covering her mouth. He pointed to his ears, her hand shakily moving to her own and touching the wet surface.
It pulled away, her eyes terrified to see what they would find.
Her body shook, a gasp collapsing her chest, the man wrapped a coat around her shoulders, pulling her inside a nearby building and sitting her down in the booth.
Her eyes were still locked on her finger tips. They were covered in blood.
