Chapter 22

I started pacing back and forth hoping they were okay I waited for a call from their boss but I think he was kinda mad.

So I just decided to call him

"Okay listen hurry up and tell me if my parents are okay" I said snapping I know I'm being rude but it's my parents

"Ok I just got some news your dad is fine but he is in the hospital being checked but your mom is very injured and they're treating her" he said

I hung up the phone cause I rather not talk to him.

I sat down and just stared off "are you ok" Gilinsky asked coming over to me

"Yeah yeah just a little mad ya know" I said still not looking over at him

He came over and hugged me then said "If you wanna go home you can" he said

"No its ok my parens are fine well I don't know about my mom but I'm good" I said sorta starting to look up

I got up and walked over to Hayes it was silent an awkward silence.

"HEY can you guys stop being so quite it's weird" I said looking at all of them

They looked at me and said "ohh yeah" and started moving around and talking

"So what are we ganna do today" I said while getting off the couch to stretch

"I don't know nothing probably" Nash said looking up from his phone

"We gotta do something" I said

"Aye we should invite Matt he's the king of fun" Johnson said

"Uhm who's Matt" I asked

"You'll see" he said grabbing his phone to call him

M- hheeellllooooooo
J- yoo Matt so we out here at Cam's apartment-
N- HEY AND NASH'S
J- yeah whatever Nash but we're bored and we were thinking of you coming over
M- yeah I can
J- so if you do what are we ganna do
M- we can do that one nerf gun thing we did before it was fun and I smashed mostly ALL of you

I laughed a little cause he seemed so confident about it

Then they all started arguing about who won and that he didn't win while me and Hayes just sat there laughing at them.

J- ok whatever bro just come over
M- yall got nerf guns right
J- nah but well buy some
M- alright bro see ya soon

These boys are so grown yet they act like there 5 that what makes them fun!

I heard nocks at the door and nobody answered so me being the mature one I walked over and opened it.

"Whats up I'm Matthew but call me Matt and you are" he asked shaking my hand

"Hi I'm Mara" I said making a funny face on accident only cause it was awkward

"Oh so you do weird faces" He said while making a funnier one than mines

I laughed then said "sometimes and that was pretty funny I'll admit it" I said

He laughed "your pretty cool so are you Cam's cousin Nash's cousin or one of the Jack's cousin" he said

"Oh I'm none I'm Hayes friend" I said

He ran over to Hayes "WOO Hayes got a lady friend that's a first" he said laughing

I laughed a little and Hayes just told him to shut up.
