Hinatid ako ni Rajancho sa bahay na para bang walang nangyari. I couldn't throw him a last glance after that. Basta na lamang akong pumasok sa loob dahil nararamdaman ko pa ang pamumula ng pisngi ko.

When I laid my back on the bed, those scenes kept playing on my mind. Napayakap ako sa unan ko upang subukang maipikit ang mga mata subalit wali ring silbi iyon.

I woke up early and prepared my working clothes. Since maghapon ako doon, magdadala ako ng mga extra shirts. I yawned as I descended from the staircase.

Si Kuya Kevin ang nasa dining table. Sinabayan ko na rin siyang kumain ng umagahan. Then I went back again to my room. I was wearing a bathrobe when my phone beeped.

It was my cousin, Jenny, who's calling me. Nangunot ang aking noo. I faced the full length mirror and observed my cheeks for any sunburned skin.

"Hello? Good morning," I greeted.

Seems like my skin is healed now. The skin cream is also effective.

"Diane?! When is your wedding? Bakit parang biglaan? You didn't even informed me about this! Gosh, aren't you rushing things? Totoo bang sa katapusan ay kasal ka na kay Rajancho?" my cousin's various questions made my head confused in the early morning.

Wait, what? Wedding?

"Diane!"

I blink and let out a sudden rush of air.

"Where did you heard that, Jenny?"

I parted my lips for a sudden gasp. May kutob na ako sa nangyayari ngunit paanong nakarating agad sa kanila ang ganoong balita!

"From my husband! I overheard them last night. Bumisita si Rajancho dito sa bahay. I thought they were having a business talk. But it isn't! Kasalan ang usapan nila. So explain to me, Diane."

Napamasahe ako sa aking sentido at hindi malaman kung paano ipapaliwanag ang lahat ng ideya ni Rajancho patungkol sa kasal. He's really fucking serious about it. That Javelarozque is making a big headline.

Kahapon lamang kami nagkausap. And I didn't expect that a small talk to ease the misunderstandings between us could lead us to something hot passion of kisses.

I could smell the aftermusk of my body wash.

"What are you going to do now? I had knew that Rajancho brought you to the mountains for your safety. Iyon ang pagkukuwento sa akin ni Ezequiel. Then I must say that Rajancho has always been a good man."

Tumaas ang aking kilay sa tila pagpapaghiwatig sa kanyang tono. Hindi ba nabanggit sa kanya na nagsinungaling si Rajancho sa akin?

"I should take this slowly, Jenny. Marahil kakausapin ko na lamang muli si Rajancho tungkol dito. I'm sorry for startling you with that news. Sa palagay ko'y kailangang maayos muna ang hindi pagkakaunawaan sa pagitan namin."

"No, it's fine, Diane. Totoong nagulat ako ngunit gusto ko rin sanang sabihin na boto ako kay Rajancho. You should fix things with him as soon as possible," pag-uudyok niya sa akin.
