The loud music of my car boomed. I sang with it as I drove into the wide road of Azagra.

My gaze went to vast fields that I passed by. It was the harvest season. May mga nakapansin sa aking pagdaan.

Kumaway sila nang mapansin ang aking sasakyan. I smiled to them and waved my hand at them.

I parked my car beside my brother's car.

I took off my sunglasses and fixed my airpods connected in my phone. I licked my lips as I asked a maid.

"Where's my brother?"

The maid bowed a little to me. I played my car keys in my fingertips.

"Nasa opisina po siya," saad nito.

I walked forward after that. I knocked on his door before I opened it.

I chortled before zipping down my black jacket. It revealed my plaid bralette inside. The zipper stopped just below my chest. I was now seated on a chair that was place near his desk. My brother was eyeing me.

Lumipat ang tingin ko sa kanyang ginagawa. As expected, he got a lot of works. He is the eldest of the family so he has to do all of those.

"I need to finish some of my projects, Kuya. I never thought that being a college student could stress me out like that," I blew out a loud breath.

Umiling siya sa narinig. I smirked playfully. He is very much used to my usual rants in school. Honestly, I really do not take school seriously before.

Tss. Boys are more interesting than school. I pouted.

"Remember, you have to finish your college so you could help me manage the hacienda. Though Dad is not a part of candidacy, it is still very important to be wise," wika niya.

Kumunot ang aking noo. That news really caught my attention.

"Stop playing, Diane. Take things seriously. Our family's name should never left the spotlight.

I crossed my legs and eyed him.

"Noted. Tell me, Kuya. Ano feeling ng pagiging haciendero?"

He glared at me. Tumawa ako nang mapagtantong naaasar na siya. He must have been stressed like me.

He chuckled and closed his laptop.

You have to check it's status.
