It was Friday morning, and Mia and I had both taken the day off to spend it with Izzy before going to Liam's for the weekend.
I was laying in bed, on my back, enjoying the fact that I slept in, and didn't go to the gym. My eyes were closed, and I had my arm over my eyes.
"Bear!" I heard seconds before Izzy jumped on the bed and landed on top of me, kneeing me straight in the balls.
I let out a long groan as I wrapped my arms around her and rolled her to the side. I heard Mia laughing.
"Did she get ya?" Mia asked. I nodded as I groaned again.
"You growl like a bear." Izzy said, making both Mia and I laugh.
"I'm going to shower." Mia said as she grabbed clothes, and went into the bathroom.
"I'm hungry." Izzy said as she traced the tattoos on my neck.
"Me too... I'm a super... hungry... BEAR!" I said pinning her down, and pretending to eat her little tummy.
"Don't eat me!" she said laughing.
"What should we eat, then?" I asked her, resting my chin on her tummy. She pushed my hair back out of my face so she could see me.
"Pantakes!"
"That sounds good. Lets go make Mommy and Gigi breakfast for a change." I said picking her up and walking into the kitchen.
I set her down on the counter, and started pulling out everything we needed. Izzy looked at me like I was forgetting something.
"Pick me down." She said holding her hands up.
I laughed at how she said it, and put her down. She walked over to the pantry, and I watched as she looked over the shelves. She must have found what she was looking for, because she smiled big, and picked something up off the shelf. She walked out of the pantry, and shut the door. Holding the bag tight, she walked over to me with a bag of chocolate chips.
I smiled and picked her back up, setting her on the counter. "Good idea." I said winking at her.
I pulled out the griddle, and let it warm as we mixed the ingredients. I gave Izzy the bowl and the whisk, and helped her mix it. I got the ladle, and scooped out a few pancakes onto the griddle and added the chocolate chips. I got my phone and turned on music. Izzy and I danced around as we cooked.
Lynn came down with her coffee cup, and smiled as she watched us. In normal Gigi behavior, she couldn't not help, so she set the table.
Mia came out as we were cooking the last batch. She was wearing colorful yoga pants again, with a white tank top. I loved the way those pants sat on her hips. I ran my eyes over her as she walked up to me.
"There is nothing sexier than the man you love, making you breakfast." She said as she kissed me.
"You sure about that?" I asked her.
