"Mom, what fruit do you want me to cut up?" I asked her as she started the waffles.

"Whatever you want honey. I got all kinds of stuff." She said.

"I can see that." The fruit drawer was full.

I pulled out the berries and figured that would be good. I washed everything, then started to cut the strawberries. I put the raspberries, blackberries and blueberries in a large bowl, then added the cut up strawberries. As I mixed them, I felt hands run over my hips up to my waist.

"Just in time." I said smiling at Damien over my shoulder.

His hair was still wet from his shower, and falling to the side.

"Come on love birds. You guys are starting to make me sick with how sweet you are." Amy said, shaking her head and carrying the bowl of fruit to the table.

Damien grabbed the juice and I grabbed the cups as we all sat down.

"Amy and I were going to go out on a girls day, Mom, do you want to come with us?" I asked her.

"Oh that would be fun!" She said as her face lit up. "What are you going to do today, honey?" She asked Damien.

"Play Santa." He said with a smile as he ate a strawberry off the tip of his fork.

We quickly did the dishes, and got ready. Damien kissed me and loved on me for a minute before he left.

I straightened my hair, and put on jeans with a grey and coral cardigan.

I found a pair of boots, and we all bundled up and got in my car. We went to a salon, and pretty much planned on spending most of the day there.

We all took our boots off and rolled our jeans up, before putting our feet in the warm water for a pedicure.

"Ok, I want details about you and Damien." Amy said as she flipped through a magazine.

"Umm... Mom is here." I said in a hushed tone.

"Not that stuff. We can talk about that later. Just how it's going." She said, shrugging.

Mom leaned forward a little and leaned on her palm to listen to me.

I felt my blush. "It's going well." I said shrugging.

"Oh come on give me more than that. You are kind of at the point in the relationship where you either see a future or you don't." Amy said.

"I like him." Mom said, smiling.

"I know you do, Mom." I said chuckling. "I think he is really good for both Izzy and me." I said.

"You think this could be a permanent thing....?" Amy asked sugarcoating what she wanted to ask.

"Yeah, I really do." I said unable to stop the smile on my face.
