A/N: doesn't that bedroom scream Cheryl's guest room vibes? ^
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Toni POV:
"So, um that's why you're here now. I didn't know where else to take you because I don't know where you live or anything," Cheryl finished explaining.
I have to admit it was a lot to take in after just waking up. I put down my fork on my finished breakfast plate.
"I'm at a loss for words. Thank you so much Cheryl. Without you saving me..." I shuddered at the thought.
"I hope one day I can repay you."Cheryl looked away thoughtfully.
"Well there is one thing I'd like..."
~
"This tastes so good," I mmmed.
(A/N: HAHA U THOUGHT)
"You've seriously never had a milkshake at Pop's before?" Cheryl giggled.
"No, I haven't been to Pop's before today, and this is AMAZING!" I smiled at the redhead.
"So, why'd your want me to come to here with you?" I asked.
"Well, from the day you gave me my tattoo, I kinda, uh, couldn't stop thinking about you after what you told me. And when I saw you on the school tour in the gym..." she blushed, "I really just want to get to know you better."
I smiled earnestly and took another sip of my drink.
"I'd like that."
Cheryl POV:
I got home about 15 minutes after leaving Pop's, threw my jacket and shoes on the floor and went upstairs. Tonight was certainly... something. While I did enjoy me and Toni hanging out and finally getting to know each other like I wanted all along, she was seriously doing things to me.
For example, her outfit. Don't get me wrong, I wasn't complaining when she walked in wearing that tight black crop-top showing all her cleavage, but it was hard not getting distracted every time I looked at her.
Then again, I have more important issues at hand. I also have to deal with the problem of her coming to Riverdale High. Even if I started acting nice now that she was attending, reputation and people would tell her otherwise.
I sighed in frustration with the situation I was in. Of course, my luck; the first crush I've had in years has to come to me after I built up my life again without Jason there to guide me. I was mean to people, generally a toxic person, and I regretted it a few months after I started the act, but it was too late to turn back. Thank god I knew my friend group before Jason died, and they understood this was my coping method with his death.
But who knows if she would.
Toni POV:
"How was your date?" Sweet Pea waggled his eyebrows at me.
"It wasn't a date," I mimicked his tone.
"Hmm, really? Then why'd you dress all up?"
"I didn't!" I defensively countered.
"Woah, woah!" Pea put his hands in the air. "That fact that you're getting worked up about me joking around says something."
I huffed, crossed my arms over my chest, and looked away.
"Pea, c'mon leave her alone and come help me win this game," Fangs was furiously clicking on one of their X-Box controllers.
Sweetpea laughed and walked away, flopping down on one of the four beanbag chairs they had in the trailer, surrounded by empty soda cans and chips bags. This was one of the reasons I moved out in the first place. The boys were total slobs.
