*Maria Camilla*
I have no idea why I said that but it wasn't good. It's not like I don't trust the general or being unfair because he told me about him.
"But I have my aunt Sara and Uncle Simón," his face went all alert at the mention of my uncle's name."Simón you say?" He asked.
"Yes, Simón Alves. Do you know him?"
"I had a friend by that name too. Maybe we have alot in common with the people around us," he said."... But about your parents.....," general trailed off as he studied my face and he knew.
"I don't want to talk about it," looking away from him, my blood boiled and the color in my hands drained.
"To me they're dead and there's no point in talking about people that are gone," anger again consumed me and my hatred for Alonso Del Rosario. They mean nothing to me now. They must be enjoying their wealth and obviously forgot that they had a daughter.
I don't give a damn.
"Anyone would be lucky to have you as their daughter, that I'm sure of,"said general.
"It was nice talking to you Maria Camilla. See you," just like that, he walked back to his office leaving me standing there.
General Marshall Del Lione.

*Valeria*
After fifteen long years, I was going to be united with my daughter again. I don't know what I'll say to her or how I'll react after seeing her.
What if she hates me and Alonso?
I'm not going to leave her this time. I'll make her forgive us and come back to his family."Mam, this is the place," my driver pulled up in front of a big house with a big wooden gate.
She must have been living in comfy because by the looks of it, this is a rich home."wait for me here," getting off, I rang the bell, waiting patiently for someone to get the door.
"Good afternoon Mam, how may I help you?" A house help said politely that I couldn't help but force a smile."Hello. I'm Valeria Del Rosario. Is Maria Camilla here?" I asked peeping in.
"Lola, who's there?" A petite middle aged woman stood at the porch in a rather casual dress."Oh Madame, there is some lady out here. She said she's looking for Camilla," the house help spoke in a tiny voice.
"Send her in," I was shown the way into the house and her face came into clearer view."Come on in," she led me into the house. That got me thinking, what if I was some murderer or something? Was she just going to let a stranger like me into her house?
"Have a seat please."
"Lola, please get her a drink," she instructed with a polite smile as I continued looking around the house.
Camilla must be really comfortable here and I'm beginning to doubt that she will want to come with us."Here Mam,"
"How may I help you?" After making herself comfortable and sipping on my drink she spoke up.
"Well you see, I'm here to see Maria Camilla," I said nervously, placing the glass on the tray."Ah, are you her friend's mother or something?" She eyed me quite mysteriously.
"No... I'm... I'm her mother. Valeria Del Rosario," when the words left my mouth, it seemed as if I've just dropped a bomb which destroyed the whole universe."Well you see, Mrs Valeria, I'm sure Camilla wouldn't be happy to see you here so it will be better if you just leave," she stood up and I followed.
"Mrs Alves, please just let me see my daughter once. You're a mother too so you should understand me," I begged with the tears at the bridge of falling.
