*Maria Camilla*

The memory of last night just keeps coming back to me like crazy.
"Camilla, what's the matter?" Aunt Sara pulled a chair opposite me in the dining.
"Ah aunt........," I never once lied or hid something personal from her so I have to tell her one way or the other.

"Yes?..... You know you can tell me just about anything," she leaned on the table waiting for me to speak.
"Where do I start?" Nervous, I laid down my fork and rubbed my cold hands against each other.
"There is this guy at camp, Carlos. He's a major and we kinda have a thing going on," I nearly squealed upon saying "kinda" but aunt Sara just sat back and grinned.

"Tell me fully. Is something kinda going on or you two are already together? " her eyebrows raised at me, she folded her arms on her chest.
"I don't know aunt. You very well know I don't know anything about this. All I know is, he said.....," my chair screeched against the tile while she waited. Why do I have to be in such an awkward situation.

"He loves me but I didn't say anything."
"Do you feel the same way?" She asked.
"That's what I'm trying to figure out. I think I do but I still have doubt's in my mind and I'm afraid of us ending up like my parents." My nervousness was gone and anger has clouded my thoughts once again.

"Dear, don't push it on yourself. And remember not everyone is like your father, look at me and your uncle for example, we are very happy together and nothing can change that. Life throws chances and challenges along with them sometimes your decisions are wrong but they end up teaching you a lesson you should be proud of and after that, you'll never repeat the mistake. All I can tell you is think this over. Whatever decision you make, I'll support you all the way but remember whatever it is, there are consequences. There's just no way around it," Aunt held my hands in hers, looking into my eyes.

"Thank you," it reminded me of what Fátima said to me too concerning this matter.
"I'll go now or else I'll be late," giving her a hug from the back, she kissed my cheek before I took off.
"Take care!" She yelled behind me.
"I'll!"

Carlos had asked me to set up a tent yesterday but he didn't tell me for whom. I'm pretty sure my brother has found the right girl for him. For the past few weeks, he has been acting really... Different.
He smiles more often, goes into his space and whistles all his way upstairs to his room.
I want to meet this person who has changed my brother from being the busy strict soldier.

One thing is for sure, the tent was for a girl.
"Now tell me who was that for yesterday?" Sitting on the counter, I watched Carlos wash his hands.
"You ask alot of questions. Don't you have classes today?" He wiped them with a towel and threw it in my face. How rude.
"I'm going to tell mom," I threatened and immediately, he looked around the kitchen before taking deadly steps towards me.

"One word and you're dead."
"You think you can threaten me?..... Mom!" I yelled out loud but he covered my mouth.
"Fine, I'll tell you," his eyes were clouded now.
"I found the girl for me," his hands traveled inside his pockets and stayed there. No smile on his face, nothing. What was there was only a blank expression.

"And are you two together?"
"Not really. I'm waiting for her," he said and my heart was tied in a knot. Oh please god don't let my brother go through a heartbreak. For the first time, he likes a woman.
"Carlos, any woman that has you is indeed lucky and I'm sure whoever she is, she likes you alot," giving my brother positive vibes is my duty as a younger sister. He has always been there for me as a brother and a father too.
