*General*

"General Del Leon, it's been a while now since the case of the rebels. You know very well that the more time we waste in getting to them, the less our chances are and the more dangerous it is for the country." Commander in chief addressed me standing in his office.

"Sir, we are doing everything we can to capture the rebels but I believe, if we capture the spy, she will lead us to the rebels." I said.
"You need to act fast. It's been a month now and there's no result. I might be forced to remove you from command, you know what I mean," he said again.
"Yes sir."

"Dismissed." I saluted and he saluted back. Turning around like a soldier, I walked out of the office.
"Sir," Major walked up to me almost immediately I closed the door.
"Is something wrong major?" I asked.
"De Vera just contacted me, she has important Intel about the case of drug smuggling." He reported which gave me hope.

"Let's head back then."

Soon we were back at base at the meeting room.
"What's your latest update intel?" I asked.
"Sir, based on the information I've gathered, the teenager, Miranda Lambert who just died yesterday due to over dose of drugs was sold to her by a guy called Gabriel Bartholomew who apparently appeared in the media during the rebels' protest in 2011," she passed around a newspaper report and a sketch done by the police which was taken from Miranda's friend.

"This shows that there's a link between the rebels and the drug smugglers." She concluded.
"Isn't this the head of the rebels?" I asked.
"Yes sir. He goes by the name Felipe but his last name is not known," she answered.
"It's possible that he has something to do with the drug and arm smugglings." Passing the report around, they all took a look.

"Join forces with the police and capture this Gabriel Bartholomew," I stood off the chair.
"Major. You're in charge," I added.
"Yes sir!" They all stood up.

"Dismissed."

"How have you been doing?" I walked around camp with Lt. Del Rosario as we conversed.
"Great actually. I couldn't ask for more," smiling at me, she looked ahead with her hands in her pockets.
"Major's mother dropped by here a while ago. She was asking for you," I turned to her for a short while before we took a seat on the bench.

"oh she did?.... I wish I could have seen her." When she held onto the chair beneath it, I saw her flinch and her finger came up with blood.
"How did you get hurt?" Taking her hand, I examined it carefully.
"I'm fine, it might just be a nail or something," wiping the blood away, she quickly removed her hand from my hold.

I felt something.

I hate the fact that I can't point it out but it was there everytime I'm with her.

"How are you and Major doing?" I fold my arms and relaxed back.
"We're good. As always," squinting her eyes she smiled so brightly and I immediately remembered Renata. Her smile resemble hers and her eyebrows too.

I wonder what it would have been like if Renata and my daughter were still with me.
"Thinking of your family?" Pressing a smile, Del Rosario said.
"Did I ever tell you that you remind me of them?"
"Yes. I have the same name as your daughter too."

"How do you spend your time at home?" She asked.
"I work on my wife's business then I order some food, eat and sleep. That's my everyday routine." I may seem pretty normal and healthy but I'm lonely.
The only people I'm close to are, Cassandra, Carlos, Claire, Del Rosario and De Vera.
