*Major*

The spy ran away. I don't know why I feel, I know her from somewhere.
Ofcourse she's in the military after all but who is she?
When her eyes met mine for a brief moment, I felt as if, if I looked longer, I'll know but she left before that.
Her fighting skills were one of a kind.
The way she tackled me earlier somersaulting over my head, it reminded me of Maria. It's surely something she can do.

Where is she by the way?

Grabbing my cell phone, I made a phone call.
"Block all the exit points. The spy has been spotted. I repeat, block all the exit points," I said hanhing up.
"Let's go," the soldiers ran after me in the direction she went.

Soon after we spot her running towards the tall building.
"Catch her. Don't let her escape," she looked back but continued running.
I had no other option than to aim for her leg.
I've been trying to hold back for long but not anymore.

The bullet went off but she ducked away perfectly avoiding it as if it wasn't the first time.
I aimed again but she rolled on the floor flat.
She must have been shot.
When we came closer, she kicked my gun off my hands and somersaulted around us like the wind.
Soldiers dropped to their knees due to there impact she had on them but I tried to focus so hard so damn hard but I ended up closing my eyes because of the dizziness.

When I opened my eyes, she was gone.

That was what Maria did when we fought for the first time.

But.......

"She mustn't go far. Search the perimeter!" They all took off while I tried to catch my breathing.
"Sir, she escaped," after a while of waiting, they came back.

"Major Andrade," general distracted my thoughts.
"Sir. The spy escaped," I reported.
"He took the phone," general put his hands in his pockets.
"It has been a long day for everyone. Let's talk tomorrow." He turned around and left. I know the general had been pressured by his seniors but we'll do everything we can to protect this country.

I looked back at the building then remebered the way the mole somersaulted around us just like Maria.
But how is this possible
Could it be......
"Camilla. I told you to be careful. Look you've injured your leg," I heard Fàtima's voice and when I turned, she was with Camilla.

"You can all go now," nodding at the soldiers, they all left.
"Maria. What happened to her?" Quickly, I examined her knee which was bleeding so bad.
"She tripped and fell. I told her to go to the infirmary but she wouldn't agree," Fátima said worriedly and I looked up at Maria. She had a straight face inspite the injury being bad.
I just picked her up in my arms bridal style without a word.
"I'll take it from here," I said to Fátima.

As I walked towards the infirmary, her arm wrapped around my neck and I could feel her staring.
I on the other hand was ashamed or rather guilty for thinking bad of her.
For a moment I doubted her.
"Nurse, she needs help," I said upon arrival.
"Sorry sir but I need to attend to someone else," she said leaving the room while I gently sat Maria down on the bed.

She reached out for the first aid box, grabbed a scissor and ripped her jean a bit more around the knee.
She poured some spirit inside a small bowl, dipped in some cottons and wiped the blood away.
After that, she applied some cream and bandaged it, hissing time to time until she was done.

I watched her do it all.
She never failed to amaze me.
"You don't seem okay," she said busy in packing the box.
Getting up, I sat next to her on the bed and pulled her in for a hug. Her head rested on my chest for a while.
"Come on, you need to take rest now," she wiped my tired face, pressing a little smile.
