The beach day

Shuichi's pov :

Kaito decided to bring us to a beach ... He wanted to make us happy I guess . Kokichi was still a little bit distant toward me ...
I put on my swimsuit to go swim , after all that would be sad if kaito bring us here to do nothing and not go have some fun . Kaede was wearing a cute pastel pink bikini with a music symbol on it . I never seen so much girls in bikini that was kinda embarrasing . Kaede invite me to go play with her , I couldn't say no , she was my bestfriend and I wanted to spend more times with her . A few moment later I went back to the beach to get some drinks on the dock . Kokichi was sitting on it watching the water .

"What's wrong?" I asked him .

"Oh! Hi shumai! I just refuse to go in the water cause my skin is too pure and beautiful to get ruin by this nasty and bad looking sea water . Plus I don't like salted water! " He said will giving me a really big forced smile .

That was a lie for sure , I wonder why he is not going in the water , could it be that he can't swim?

"You can't swim , can you?"

He jumped , it was obviously this ! He can't swim .

"I can help you swim if you want ....I-I mean if you don't want to it's totaly fine ! You can stay on the dock" I said while choking on my drink

I hope he will say yes ... I don't want to look weird or anything like that  .

"I can teach him how to swim "

Without even realizing that rantaro was behind me I flinched . Why is he always around me when I want to do somethings with kokichi ? Can't we only hang out as friends? He is becoming annoying but I'll be quiet . Not like I can say anythings i'm not in couple with kokichi ... Weird after I thought of being in couple with shuichi my heart started to get warm . Kaede told me it happen when you think of someone you love alot like a friend , a family Members or a love ... WAIT WHAT?!? I can't be in love with kokichi ! We are both male ! I .... It can't be that . We are only friends! Friends and friends only.....only friends......

"Nah I want shumai to teach me how to swim! Thanks anyways avocado boy" kokichi said not even looking at rantaro .

«avocado boy» what a fun nickname , I mean it kinda fit rantaro .
I went in the water and handed my hand to kokichi letting him knew he can go in I wont let him drown.  Kokichi was really confident about it but he took my hand and went in the water . As soon as he was in the water his feet touched somethings and he let out a scream similar to a girl's one . I couldn't help but laugh about it .

"SOMETHINGS IS TOUCHING MY FEET " he screamed.

I looked down to see that some sea weed were touching him . I calmed him down and told him it was only sea weed . He looked disgusted and terrified . He is kinda cute when he show is real face.... I felt my face warm up and looked away . I saw miu trying to seduce kiibo at the other on the other side of the dock . Kiibo looked really confused and shy . I think that kiibo always had a little little small crush on miu even if she was terrifying him on some points . I looked again at kokichi who was trying to get the sea weed off his feet . That was funny to see . I then get a little bit away from him .

"Heeeeh ! What are you doing !? " He looked at me panicked and clinged on the dock.

"You can't learn how to swim if you don't at least try on your on , try to come near me . Don't worry , if somethings bad happen I will save you don't worry " I told him with a comforting smile on my face .

He blushed a little bit and then tried to swim in my direction. Kaede and angie was hyping him with kiibo . I was feeling rantaro's fixing me , I could feel it a miles away ... The day ended and kokichi still don't know how to swim but at least he made progret! I put on my pajamas and went to sleep . In the middle of the night I felt somethings cling onto me , it was kokichi . He was sleeping like a hamster . (gundham tanakaaaaaaaa) I smiled and fell back asleep .
