Shinso: where were you today? did you forget that you had training?
You: I told Snipe I wasn't feeling well and I'll see him next week
Shinso: Yeeeeah but clearly you felt well enough to do face masks with Itsuka right?
You: Stalker 😡
Shinso: I'm not stalking you if you post everything on insta 😑
You: Whatever 🙄
You: How was training though?
"Hey, (Y/N), who you texting so much?" Itsuka asked with a sly smile.
It was finally the weekend and as much as you would've loved to spend your Saturday training with Snipe, you decided to play hooky and spend the day with Itsuka instead. The majority of the day was spent going shopping, taking a shit ton of pictures, and now currently, you were having a little spa moment with her at her home.
It had been way too long since you spent quality time with your best friend.
"Oh just Shinso," you answered with a shrug.
"Shinso?" she said confused. "And here I was thinking that it was Monoma."
"Why's that?"
"Cause you're all smiley and giggly."
"No, I'm not," you scoffed.
Shinso: Super lame. I accidentally elbowed Professor Aizawa when practicing with the binding cloth so he made me do 60 pushups
You stifled a giggle at that.
Itsuka shook her head. "Are too."
She lied back in bed, popping a caramel coated kernel of popcorn into her mouth. She had that knowing smile on her lips, like she had you figured all out. But what was there to figure out?
"I mean our conversation is just a little funny that's all."
She side-eyed you. "Sure Jan."
"I'm telling the truth!" you whined. The blush of embarrassment that dusted your cheeks said otherwise to Itsuka.
She still had no clue what was going on between you and your "friend" Shinso. It wasn't like you wanted to keep everything a secret from her, you just figured what was there to tell? The two of you weren't dating. Just...friends. Friends like you had always been.
Friends who kiss each other and do shit in Recovery Girls office.
Just the mere memory of what went down in the nurses office was enough to make you blush. To Itsuka, you were blushing because she was right.
"Okay, you're telling the truth," she laughed. "Though I will say, you two seem like you've gotten closer lately."
"Uhm. I guess? We've always been friends though..."
Your fingers slowly typed out your reply back to Shinso. Did it seem like something was up? Itsuka was just more observant than most so maybe that's why she was suspicious.
You: HA you deserved it
Shinso: Yeah just wait until you come back and I do the same thing to you
