Shit. Shit. Shit.

Your leg bounced in place, causing the paramedic to look over at you concerned.

"Are you alright, miss?" he asked gently. "I know what happened must have been scary but you're safe now."

"I-I'm fine," you answered rather unconvincingly.

Truth was, you weren't okay in the slightest. It was never fun dealing with mania. That's why you tried to use your quirk in the presence of another responsible adult. But that wasn't the only reason why you were panicking.

Shinso had just finished up explaining to the cops what had happened and exactly how he used his quirk before he retuned to you. You sat on the back of the ambulance, with a blanket around your shoulders to help calm you down. It was barely helping. Shinso hopped on to the ambulance next to you.

"Hey, you okay?" he asked concerned. "You don't look so good."

"Just peachy," you quipped.

He frowned. "(Y/N)...."

Just when he was about to press the matter further, Snipes voice could be heard from the back of the small crowd that had gathered in the area.

Because of course now people show up. Not when I was in danger.

"(Y/N)!" he called. He pushed his way to the front, the cops immediately letting him pass through when they noticed who he was. He rushed over to you upon seeing you. "Are you alright? Are you hurt? I just got the call in the scanner about what happened and came as soon as I realized they were describing you."

"I'm fine, I'm fine," you reassured. "Shinso really helped me actually."

"Well that's good to hear." Aizawa shoved his way through the crowd, slightly harsher than Snipe had. "Back you vultures," he hissed at the paparazzi. "This is a sensitive case involving two young students. Go get your scoop somewhere else."

"Eraser Head," Shinso said. "You're still here?"

Aizawa approached the three of you. "Yes, thankfully Snipe and I were just exiting the dojo when the call came in. Are you two alright?"

"We're fine," Shinso answered for you. You were glad he did. You were beginning to get tired of explaining yourself.

"(Y/N)," Snipe said. "I took the liberty of calling your aunt. She should be here soon."

Oh fuck.

As if on cue, the sound of tires screeching to a halt could be heard followed by the loud clicking of high heeled boots. The crowd parted upon her arrival, everyone whispering to one another in awe.

"It's Midnight! It's really her!"

"Damn look at her in that tight suit!"

Well, particularly the men were. No surprise there.

Your aunts violet eyes locked on you like a missile and she immediately ran over. "(Y/N)!" she gasped, throwing her arms around you. Tears pricked at the corners of her eyes. She sniffled as she continued to hold onto you tight, practically squeezing the life out of you. "I was so worried," she breathed. With her grip on your shoulders, she pushed back to look at you. "Oh sweetie, are you alright? I'm so sorry I didn't come to pick you up. I knew that there was trouble in the area and I didn't."

"Midnight, please, it's all my fault," Snipe interjected. "I received the notification too. I should've taken (Y/N) home."

From your peripheral vision, you could see Shinso's wide, iris eyes darting back and forth between you and Midnight. You could literally see him connecting the dots in his head.
