September - Senior Year

"Oi, (Y/N), open up!"

Itsuka stood outside your bedroom door, irritated at how long it was taking you to invite her inside. Itsuka was the only person at UA who knew that you were related to Midnight. Therefore, she was your only friend from UA that was allowed to come over. It didn't take long for Itsuka to gain your trust and show that she wouldn't judge you for being related to the pro hero.

Itsuka was an incredibly understanding person who couldn't care who you were related to.

You were always worried that once someone found out, they would just accuse you of getting accepted into UA under false pretenses. Luckily, Itsuka wasn't like that at all.

"Hurry up, I'm tired of standing out here alone," she whined.

Nemuri, aka Midnight, passed by the hall, chuckling to herself. "Unfortunately it's common within the Kayama family for members to take forever perfecting their looks. Oh, it's hard being a girl!"

"Oh hello, Midnight!" Itsuka respectfully bowed. "How are you?"

"Please Kendo, you can call me Kayama," Nemuri insisted. She leaned against the wall, tapping her knuckles against your bedroom door. "Kid, you better open up and let Itsuka in before I kick this door down!"

"U-Um, that won't be necessary Kayama..."

"Ugh, I'm coming!" you shouted from the inside.

You weren't about to test your aunt considering that wouldn't have been her first time anyways.

You scurried across your bedroom, throwing the clothes that were on the floor into your closet in a poor attempt to clean your room. You thew your door open with a huff, shooting a look at your aunt before smiling at Itsuka.

"Yay, you're here!" you beamed. You pulled her into your arms, enveloping her into a tight hug. "Thanks for coming!"

"Nice...to...see you...too!" Itsuka breathed. She patted at your back, urging you to let her go so she could gasp for air. "What took you so long?"

"....I couldn't decide on what to wear."

"Are you freaking kidding me right now?" Itsuka asked deadpanned, censoring herself in the presence of Nemuri. "It's just a casual party," she laughed. "You really shouldn't worry about what to wear when everyone isn't even going to bother to dress up ."

"I know, I guess I just overthought things again," you sighed.

You turned around to face your monstrous closet that had its guts spilled out all over the floor. Piles and piles of clothes had been yanked from their hangers and carelessly stomped over as you reached for things overhead.

You really did have trouble picking out an outfit for tonight. After changing over a billion times, you settled on wearing a purple plaid skirt with a black belt that had a silver heart buckle, and a tucked in lilac t-shirt with a crescent moon patch over your chest. You slipped on a pair of stockings and your favorite combat boots and you were finally ready to go.

Nemuri looked over your outfit. Your aunt was the last person to judge what you wore. Especially considering what she used to wear in her own high school days when she first became a pro hero.

"You girls are heading to a party tonight, right?" Nemuri questioned.

"Eh you could call it that I guess," Itsuka shrugged. "It's more like a small gathering. Pony didn't invite that many people."

"It doesn't matter how many people are going. Just remember no drinking!" Nemuri ordered, hands on her hips. "I know how these parties can sometimes get a little crazy. And remember, if a boy can't take no for an answer, then kick him in the balls and call the cops on their ass."
