the days after their day to themselves we're quite boring. king had to travel to a different city for matters he left undisclosed with his boyfriends.

the only one that found out was donald, who learned from the chairman that his daughter was failing to lead the business. this severely surprised king, considering she was always so capable.

his flight too long for his impatient self, and when he got to the company building he was ready to murder crystal for making him fly all the way here.

crystal was sat in her office, which technically belongs to her dad now that she's failed at what everyone here was call her 'entrance exam'. running a company is much harder when your rich father isn't there next to you, ready to fix your problems with his money in an instant. her father left this branch for her to run, and she failed. now she guessed king was coming home to steady the branch, as well as cut it off.

and that's exactly what he did. he carefully made his way up stairs, taking his sweet time as to make the chairman's daughter more nervous. when he made it to the office he didn't bother knocking, it's not worth his time, just like having to come here in person is a waste of time.

king looked crystal in the eye as he walked in front of the desk and presented a file. his mask was pulled down so she could see his smile, which was obviously fake and petty.

crystal opened the beige file with caution out of fear of what it might say.

the first page was a legal document claiming the reasons why this building is being shut down, as well as quoted incidents proving the point. under that were pages formatted to precision by no other than king himself. each page contained a code name for an incident and all of the details about it. crystal picked through them with attentive eyes, not catching a single error. that annoyed her. she couldn't find an error in these, and that was frustrating because there is no way to save this business. it's not like it it's her fault that mcn ran illegal businesses, or that the four crews got out of hand under her watch. gun had given her an impossible task, he asked her to control the four crews for him. the chairman had bigger and better jobs for him, so he has zero need for the crews anymore.

controlling multiple groups of power hungry teenagers with the fighting skills of trained professionals is harder than you'd think. big deals jake kim got out of juvie after someone payed his bail, that someone was the only person she could ever consider.

king. king was trying to sabotage her. she had already talked to her dad about it, but he dismissed her. he trusted king too much for that, and he expected more from his own daughter. if he could keep all of this afloat, why couldn't she?

king was, in fact, sabotaging here ever so slightly. it wasn't on purpose at first. he bailed jake iut because he didn't want the big deal leader going crazy for revenge, and he slowly realized that crystal couldn't control jake. hell, gun barely could. he didn't want crystal to lose her job, he just wanted to give here a reality check. that nothing is as easy as it seems, and that nothing is the same on the outside as the inside. she's always so hypocritical, never admits when she's wrong, and that would lead this building downhill one way or another. king though he'd help put her out of her misery, or help in a way. looks like he did a little more than intended, and now he had to stand before the desk of a girl who can never get over her own ego to swallow her pride just to tell her that she failed because of her cockiness. he was almost smug. the needed to be out in her place the entire two years he knew her, and now was the time.

he didn't worry about the jobs of the office workers here, he assumed they would be sent to different branches for the convenience of no complaints. and he especially didn't worry about crystal, who gave him a cold yet fearful glare.

king gave her a pat on the head before turning on his heel and walking away. no more crystal for awhile. that sounded like heaven.

[if you can't tell, i harbor a specific hatred for crystal and her hypocrisy. that takes me back to the time where someone said i was being sexist for not liking her because she was rude to daniel. like what??-]
