Hours and hours of travelling. We crossed the German border, so we're almost there. Through the window, I watched a beautiful view of the Alps. In the distance, high mountains covered with snow could be seen. I didn't really enjoy the smell, but somehow I survived. During the trip, I listened to music, talked to Petra and Ana, and even slept. We stopped maybe twice along the way. Once for lunch and another time to buy some things.

Nicolas and I agreed to act like ordinary people during this vacation. So we are not royalty. I couldn't wait for us to arrive. I finally saw a big house in the distance. She was surrounded by forest. She looked white because of the snow. It was made of wood, had a large front door, and in front of the house was a large gate. As we approached I saw that there was a large balcony on one side overlooking the beautiful Alps. The house had two floors, we even had an indoor pool.

We got out of the car and went inside. In front of me was a large living room, with large windows that provided natural light throughout the day. It was modern but had some old-fashioned decorations, vases, portraits, and a mirror. In the middle of the living room were two large sofas and two large armchairs, as well as a coffee table and a TV. There was a large fireplace on the left wall. In front of it stood a chess table and two chairs.

The passage on our right led to the dining room and kitchen. The kitchen was equipped with the latest technology. In the middle of the dining room stood a large table for eight people. On it stood fresh tulips, I don't know from where, as well as two candelabrums. Above the table hung a large crystal chandelier.

A sliding door in the dining room led to a closed terrace. In the middle were furniture and a firepit. It was full of all kinds of plants. There were windows on all sides overlooking a courtyard that even had a summer house, although it was quite cold here almost all year round, as well as dense forests that stretched for miles. Each path was lit by ground lights.

The door to the left of the front door led to an indoor pool. And the door to it led to one of the bathrooms. And next to the bathroom door were stairs leading to the second floor. On the second floor, there was a master bedroom, a slightly smaller bedroom, a guest room, large bathroom and two smaller ones. The hallway was full of pictures of Nicolas' family. A large white door led to the Master bedroom.

The master bedroom was very large. It looked very modern, it even had a separate closet room. Like the living room, it had large windows that provided enough light during the day, even on a rainy and cloudy day. On one side of the room was even a makeup table. The other rooms were plain, one a little bigger than the other.

A white sliding door at the end of the hallway led to a large balcony that I was looking at the moment we arrived. There were armchairs and a table on the balcony. On the other side was even a hot tub. The balcony was quite large and surrounded by glass railings, so a beautiful scenery of the alps could also be seen. Every corner of the terrace was lit by lights that stood on the railings.

We left our things in the bedroom and went downstairs to the living room. I lay down on the sofa and Nicolas sat down on the armchair and turned on the TV. It was about half-past six and it was already dark outside.

Nicolas: Are you hungry?

Me: A little bit.

Nicolas: Do you know how to cook?

Me: Are you serious? Of course, I know how to cook.

Nicolas: Good. You can make us a nice dinner.
