Too Young | Jikook

It's the day of Junghyun and Jimin's freshman orientation. They go together, of course. They go everywhere together. Jimin would go insane if Junghyun wasn't by his side.

He bikes over to Junghyun's house since they're carpooling. He pedals as fast as he can. If he gets there early, he can see Jungkook for a little bit. It would be a maximum of 5 minutes, but that's more than enough to make Jimin's day 100x better.

He turns onto Junghyun's street and sees that Jungkook is outside playing basketball. He's wearing a red shirt and Jimin can't help but stare. Jungkook's looks damn good in red. He looks good in every color, but red–

Jimin is too focused on Jungkook's beauty that he doesn't notice that his bike drifting towards the curb. He snaps out of his daze a moment too late and his bike crashes.

His bike was moving fast enough for him to be launched off of it. He misses the grass and lands on the pavement of whoever's driveway he's on. He groans and sits up. He definitely scrapped his elbow and knee. He also can't feel anything but a dull pain in his wrist. That's not a good sign.

"Fuck..." He cradles his wrist gently and feels tears welling up in his eyes. His ears vaguely register the sound of a basketball falling and fast footsteps, but he's too focused on the pain in his wrist to care.

He blinks his tears away and sees Jungkook moving the bike out of the road before walking up to him. "Are you okay?"

Jimin shakes his head and sniffles. "M-My wrist." Jungkook squats down. "Did you break it?"

"I don't know. I-I hope not."

Jungkook helps him stand up. "Why were you going so fast?"

"Because I'm excited for orientation." He sniffles again and a tear falls down his cheek. "C-Can I still go to orientation if my wrist is broken?"

"Do you actually think it's broken? If so, you need to go to the hospital."

Jimin's eyes grow wide. "But I can't miss orientation."

"I think they won't mind."

"Attendance is mandatory–"

"They can't get mad at you if you were in the hospital." They start walking towards Jungkook's house. Jungkook brings Jimin's bike. "You're limping."

Jimin huffs. "I just crashed. Of course I'm limping."

Jungkook chuckles. "I can ask my mom to drive you to the hospital. I know your parents are probably at work right now."

"Jungkook, I want to bring Junghyun to his freshman orientation. It's a big deal for parents."

"So a stupid orientation is more important that Jimin possibly having a broken bone?"

His mom crosses her arms. "Why don't you take him?"

Jungkook turns around and looks at Jimin who's standing by the counter with a bag of frozen peas on his wrist. Jungkook sighs and turns back to his mom. "Fine, but you're paying for my gas."

Junghyun walks into the room. "Hey Jimin. Why do you have... frozen peas on your wrist?"

"I crashed my bike and I need to go to the hospital to see if my wrist is broken."

Junghyun frowns. "So we aren't going to orientation?"

"You are... Jungkook is taking me to the hospital..."

Junghyun stares at him blankly. "Can't you just call your parents or something? I feel like this is a good enough reason for them to leave work."

Junghyun's mom clears her throat. "Why are you acting like this? There's no problem with your brother taking him."

Junghyun crosses his arms. "Fine." He pulls his phone out of his pocket. "We should go. Orientation starts soon."
