Junghyun's jaw drops when he sees Jimin. "Why do you look older?"
"Growth spurt."
"Goddamn. Puberty is hitting you like a truck, and for what?"
Jimin giggles and hits his arm.
"What game do you want to play? I was thinking maybe just some Minecraft—"
There's a knock on Junghyun's door and it opens before he can even say anything. It's Jungkook.
"Hey. My friends all went home so I was wondering if I could hang out with you guys."
Junghyun's face falls. "Sure, I guess..." he grabs two controllers and hands them to Jimin and Jungkook.
"What game are we playing?"
Junghyun slouches and sighs. "Minecraft..."
Jungkook sits down on the other side of Junghyun. "Jimin, how was your beach trip?"
"Good. I had a growth spurt, though. I kind of stayed in bed are sat by the pool the whole time..."
"I was gonna say that you looked taller."
Junghyun turns the Xbox on and slumps further own in his seat. "Do you guys want to play on a survival or creative world?"
Jimin waits for Jungkook to respond but he doesn't.
"Jimin can pick."
Jimin blushes. "Oh, uh... survival, I guess. We can all team up."
Junghyun selects survival and internally sighs. "Okay. I'll do mining. Jungkook, you can do hunting. Jimin can be in charge of building the base, cooking the meat, farming, and smelting the ores as usual."
Jimin brightens up. He loves building the base because he can make it look pretty. "I hope we spawn in a flower biome so I can get some peonies."
They spawn in a desert. Jimin frowns. "Damn... We should head towards that forest biome and find river to settle down by.
They explore for a while until they find the perfect spot. It's an evenly leveled stretch of land next to a mountain with multiple cave mouths. There's also a sizable river running on one side.
On the way there, they passed a ravine. Jungkook marked down the coordinates. He's the kind of Minecraft player that marks the coordinates of things he wants to go back to.
When Jungkook is done marking down the coordinates of the base, he makes himself a stone sword and ventures out to find some cows, pigs, chicken, and sheep.
Jimin makes himself a stone axe and starts clearing trees from the area where the house and farm will be. He makes a crafting table and converts the wood to wood planks. When he has 3 stacks of 64, he begins digging out where the floor will be.
Junghyun starts making his way up from the mine shaft he made. "Can you make a chest? My inventory is almost full of stacks of cobblestone."
Jimin makes two large chests and labels them meat and stone. Junghyun chuckles. "I appreciate the attention to detail."
Jimin nudges him and goes back to playing. Jimin glances at the third of the screen that shows where Jungkook is. He notices that he's just sprinting. every once and a while, he'll stop and set a furnace down, cooking a few pieces of meat and eating them before continuing on.
Jimin ignores it and goes back to building. He makes a rather large house with a large chest room, and area for the crafting table and furnace, and 3 separate bed rooms. He finds some sand and smelts it to glass, making some windows.
"Junghyunnie, can you bring back some coal? I need to make some torches. Also, I need some wool. Have you killed any sheep yet, Jungkook?"
"Yeah."
"Are you on your way back yet?"
"Not yet."
"But it's night time."
"I haven't gotten enough yet."
"Okay." Jimin gulps. Just be careful.
2 hours of playing pass and Jimin has finished building the house. Junghyun has already managed to find a few diamonds and a shit ton of iron.
The meat chest is still empty since Jungkook hasn't come back yet. Jimin and Junghyun have been surviving off of only bread and apples. "Jungkook, can you just come back? We're almost out of food."
"I know. I'm already on my way back. It might take me a while because I'm really far away."
"Okay..."
20 minutes later, Jungkook has finally returned. He puts the meat in the chest along with the wool. Jimin rushes to make 3 beds. He puts one in each of the bedrooms. Jungkook walks in an looks around the house.
"This looks great. Which room is mine?"
"The third one. I put signs above the doors."
"Oh. I didn't see them."
Jimin leaves to go and work on the farm. When night rolls around, they go inside to sleep. Jimin walks into his room and frowns. There's a chest there that he doesn't remember. He opens it and gasps, closing it before Junghyun can see.
It's full stacks of all of the different types of flowers.
Junghyun sighs. "Jimin, get in your bed."
"Oh. Right..."

to those of you who haven't played Minecraft before, it takes fucking FOREVER to get a full stack of flowers.... so that's a big deal.
