Jimin and Junghyun sit on a bench outside of the front entrance of the school. It's been 20 minutes since the last period of the day ended and they haven't said a word to each other yet.

Junghyun is the first to break the silence. "Do you still like my brother?"

Jimin sighs. "Can we not talk about this? We always just end up fighting. I'm not going to flirt with Jungkook because I know it makes you uncomfortable."

"It's just weird that you guys have been spending a lot of time alone together."

"I know... I think it's weird too, so we really don't need to argue about this. Jungkook honestly just treats me like a little brother, so you have nothing to worry about."

Junghyun doesn't respond. "Did you meet anyone new in any of your classes? I got a few people's snapchats."

Jimin shakes his head. "I didn't talk to anyone today. I'm too shy."

"I can give you the snaps if you want. I'm sure they wouldn't mind."

Jimin smiles and pulls his phone out. "Okay."

While Junghyun is telling Jimin all of the snaps, Jungkook pulls up in his Jeep. "Sorry I'm late. My alarm didn't wake me up."

They climb into the backseat. Junghyun tells Jungkook about his day and the people he met. Jimin stays quiet and stares out the window.

When Junghyun finishes talking, Jungkook waits for Jimin to say something. "Jimin?"

He snaps out of his daze. "Yeah?"

"How was your day?"

Jimin glances at Junghyun and shrugs. "Fine." He looks back out the window and is quiet for the rest of the ride home.

Jimin is reading through every syllabus when his phone buzzes. He briefly glances at it and sees that it's from someone who's name starts with a "J". Probably Junghyun. He'll answer it later.

It buzzes again so Jimin picks it up. He gasps. It's two texts from Jungkook.

Jungkook

hey kiddo

u ok?

yup

u sure?

yeah im fine

Jimin puts his phone down but it starts ringing. He stares at it for a few seconds, debating whether or not he should pick it up.

Well... It would be rude to ignore a call.

Incoming call from Jungkook...
Accept | Decline

"Hey Jimin."

"Um... Hey– hello. Hi." Jimin face palms.

"You were really quiet on the way home today. Did something bad happen at school?"

"No. My day just wasn't as interesting as Junghyun's."

"How are all of your teachers?"

"They're okay. Coach Yunis is a bit rude."

"What did he do?"

"Nothing. I can just tell that he's rude. Why did you call me?"

"Because you weren't talking a lot over text."

"I'm just busy. I'm looking through every syllabus."

"Oh. I'll hang up so I'm not distracting you."

"Okay. I'll see you tomorrow."
